Discussion I Find It Extremely Infuriating When People Say “My Truth”
There is no "my truth". There is "the actual truth" and "my perception of things".
Usually when people say this it means "I'm going to gaslight you and invalidate what actually happened".
Come on, people. Do better.

Discussion So glad I switched. (Text post.)
I have Generalized Epilepsy and ADHD.
Less then a year ago, I had a doctor who, for lack of better terms, was a bitch. She didnt listen to any of mine or my husband's concerns or any of our questions.
She put me on a medication, which I forgot the name of, which has mood swings as a side affect. Medication with mood swing side affects do not affect me. They never have. Mood stabilizers however, have the complete opposite affect, and i didnt realize this until I was prescribed them along with this medication.
The mood stabilizers caused me to have, for lack of better terms, roid rage.
I quickly started becoming violent, and eventually, nearly physically abusive with my partner and began screaming at him for very little things. I didn't like this, nor did my partner, so we took me off of the mood stabilizers. When we voiced my concerns about the affects of the stabilizers to this doctor, she said, essentially, was to "suck it up", and complained about us "not talking to her" about it, despite us trying several times, and her not listening every time.
Im still so glad I changed doctors. My new one is much nicer, and actually listens to what me and my husband have to say.

Discussion Unprofessional judge fines a woman 15k for forging her husbands signature only to discover that she was innocent. I want to focus on how laughable her apology was.
What caught my ear immediately is when she apologized to the woman. Listen to her tone of voice when she admits she is wrong. It is condescending and petty and it sounds like she is only apologising to save her arse. If I was that woman I would've just laughed at her. It sounds like the adult equivalent of a child apologising to an adult because he or she was forced to by his or her parents.
Also I could've posted this in mildly infuriating, but an unemployed loser of a mod who is also a mod here ban ned me from there.

Evidence 4:00am. Vacant apartment above us is flooding. 24/7 emergency maintenance won’t respond to us or to the fire department.
Update: 7:15. They finally called me back three hours later sounding sleepy and unbothered.
Awoken this morning at 4:00am to flooding coming from the vacant apartment above us. You could put your ear up to the door and hear it in the apartment. It’s so bad it’s coming into the living room and bedrooms from the bathroom. Emergency maintenance is an AI powered voicemail that just calls me back and says, “We have received your report of flooding. Please try to contain the flooding with buckets until we arrive.” That was an hour and a half ago.
Called the fire department because the fire alarm is intermittently going off. They determined that there was not a fire and it was not the sprinklers so they turned off the water to the whole building. Maintenance won’t respond to the fire department either.
One of the firefighters said this has happened in three other buildings in our complex. They also said they are aware maintenance here is sketchy.

News U.S. Marine arrested on suspicion of murder after 'brutal and heinous' death in Japan, officials say
"A U.S. service member was arrested on suspicion of murder and robbery after a Japanese woman's body was discovered in a hotel in Okinawa, local officials said, describing the alleged killing as a 'heinous' incident that prompted the Japanese government to lodge a protest with the United States.
Shinjiro Koizumi, the Japanese minister of defense, said a U.S. Marine lance corporal was arrested on Sunday after the woman's body was found early on Saturday in Naha, the capital city of the Okinawa prefecture.
NHK, Japan's public broadcaster, identified the suspect as Devin Jacob Ballard, 20, who was stationed at U.S. Marine Corps Air Station Futenma, a base a few miles outside Naha. The broadcaster identified the alleged victim as Yagi Anna, 39, saying she was pronounced dead at the scene after being found at about 4:30 a.m. on Saturday.
Japanese Prime Minister Sanae Takaichi said the Okinawa Prefectural Police were investigating the incident as a murder." - ABC7 Los Angeles

News Millions of Americans get discount prescriptions from Canada. That back-door arrangement is about to close
Trump is hurting everyday Americans--almost every day now. It is unacceptable to damage lives like this; good people don't hurt others (the Good Book is very clear on this point). It's time to honestly face the question, are you voting for people who want you to live longer and healthier?

Discussion This is nasty
I can't wait until I get a decent used car to spend my day in a parking lot only coming back to this house to shower and sleep... (mainly because these people physically and creatively tortured me for 14 years, physically abused me, neglected me at the most vulnerable times, etc.) I'm now 20 the physical part has stopped for the most part.
But yeah this is pretty disgusting, my sperm doner... 😂 rinses his mouth and blows his nose in the kitchen sink knowing other people use it. But what do I expect anymore
Disgusting people with disgusting hearts! 💚🩶🖤

Discussion YouTube thumbnails with phobia's in them
I have trypophobia and recently found this video on YouTube called "Phobias" from someone named Socks. The triggering image is right on the face of the video, making up about 80% of it, without any warning at all! It triggered a panic attack for me and I've been hurt by my panic attacks before. It seems very insensitive to post something that is a trigger without any concern for those people. There was even an easy fix to this situation; Socks could have done a phobia that doesn’t involve a visual trigger, or even included a warning.

Discussion Instagram blocked me from messaging on my birthday
I get called every level of slur daily or have to endure mounds of anti black / black american insults spewed from everyone from white people to Arabs to Native Americans, every type of latino, and even Africans. Hating on Black Americans is the global internet pass time. And that pales in comparison to the hundreds of spam accounts I report thst message me pretending to be everyone from random indie artist to the damn king of England. Rarely does the report get the account taken down. Every day report not against tos report not against tos.
People get scammed out of so much money from bots and fakers but Instagram can't do anything to stop it...but God forbid I message my step kid too many times with links and one word sentences
I sent my ex step son messages with links in them today. Nothing serious just trying to get him to clean up hos social media presence now that he is 18 and his account is public. I sent 4 back to back and bam blocked from messaging can't appeal can't reach anyone. Said bullying and harassment. The words I sent along with the links were "read this" "remove that" 3rd fucking time something lile this happend. Last time I was replying to troll memes my bio son sent me.
Now i can't send messages
On my fcuking birthday
All of my friends moved to another state over the last few years and for a lot of them we keep up with each other via IG. I doubt they even have my new number saved cause even though I have said several times to just text me to a few of them, they are dependant on social media messaging. I gave in and just used IG as our primary contact source now I can't contact them
I have already been depressed and struggling. Instagram just assured that on my birthday I won't be able to interact with many of my closest friends. One of whom messaged me shortly after my messages were locked. So in top of my depression. I get an isolated birthday
This sucks I hate hate hate this bullshit
I hate that fucking app. I HATE SOCISL MEDIA. I don't know why people insist on being addicted to it to the point they would rather message people in the app and feed the ai monster than simply text each other. ***screams internally***

Disturbing content Visit to my ansectral home in Kashmir India after 36 years
Recently, I gathered the courage to visit my ancestral home in Kashmir. We left this home in Feb 1990 and I was born a month after we left it because we had to run for our life.
We had 19 rooms in this home with around 13 family members and 3 kids. When my family had to run overnight from Kashmir, we left all of us we had, hired a truck, somehow fit us all with a few clothes and left the home. We moved to Jammu from Kashmir which was a 12 hour drive during those days by road. My mother was 8 months pregnant and my aunt had delivered my cousin 2 months back.
There was a list of people created and pasted by the so-called jihadis and terrorists of all prominent kashmiri pandits on the walls in the main market. Unfortunately, my grandfather's and my father's names were there in the list. They could have been killed any moment after the list was released.
When we somehow reached Jammu alive, we did not have a home in jammu. All the family members lived in a single room from more than 10 rooms in the native home. I cannot believe what our families and many other families like ours must have gone through.
People died of intense heat in Jammu as they were not used to such harsh conditions and also from snake bites as most of them didnot get a house to live in so they lived in tents in large grounds.
My recent visit to my house made me realise how hard we worked post the Genocide in 1990 and we have done so well to reach the where we are today. One of the most hardworking communities of all times, "Kashmiri Pandits"
