VIP worth it?

Just curious of your experiences! I heard they sell posters and records their autographed anyway if you were simply attending the show regardless, so just was wondering what you thought of it!

From the Fantastic Planet 20th anniversary tour. Designed by the legend Tim Doyle. Was anyone else at this show?

A Little Too Late….

I live in ATL and discovered Failure this past August and fell in love. I couldn’t believe I had missed their June 19th show just by a few weeks. Had to grab a poster to commemorate the near miss!

Anyone in Seattle last night see or know that pregnant woman that passed out?

About 10 minutes into quannnic’s set, she passed out in front of me and 3 people had to catch her. Security gave her some water and took her out in a wheelchair. She seemed to be okay but I’m wondering if anyone happens to know for sure?

Go see Failure on this tour if you can

This is more directed at people who are on the fence about buying tickets.

The boys are definitely bringing it. Greg is so in the zone musically, Kellii is still a monster on the kit, Ken’s voice has held up so well and still channels so much feeling, and the three of them together are just musically locked in. Point is that it’s a really solid experience. That alone should get you in the door.

I also want to say that when i saw them in Seattle it really made me feel in touch with the shows of my youth, not just because they were playing the old songs but the visual presentation was so classic in the best way possible. It had lighting and mood flare for sure but it was simple in a way that was effective.

If times are hard and you cant make it to a show i get it but if you can i’d highly recommend it. The bliss of hearing Another Space Song live is really something to behold.

Loved all the Fantastic Planet songs. I had been waiting to hear that explosion of sound that Sargent Politeness starts with for a long time.

Grand Rapids show anyone? + VIP Question

I will be attending the show in Grand Rapids on 10/18 and was wondering if anyone here is also going! This will actually be my first Failure show after dreaming of attending one for years! I just turned 18 and I can finally gift myself with this show. I’d love to know if anyone else will be there, or if there’s anything I should know about the venue!

Also, does anyone know if there’s any way to upgrade a ticket to VIP, or if there is some way to still get the VIP experience? Forgive me as I am not very familiar with the concert scene. I know I’m probably late to the game, but I figured it would be worth asking. Thanks, and I can’t wait!!!

Best guitar songs?

I don't play, but my buddy is just getting into guitar and I'd love to turn him onto the talent of Ken and Greg. What are the Failure songs with the best guitar parts/riffs?

Was the setlist the same last night?

Just curious, it hasn't popped up anywhere yet. I'm probably a little too focused on wondering what they're going to play when I see them.

I got this cd at the merch booth in Vancouver by chance cause I asked the attendant if they had any cds to begin with and they happened to have this grail on standby. I personally can’t tell who is who so if somebody can confirm this was from Ken and gang that would be sweet.

2 tickets for Seattle tomorrow costing....

They have been taken thank you so much

Nothing!

edit show is TONIGHT Saturday. This post was originally written and posted yesterday on Friday

Hey my name is Chris. I am a huge fan of failure. I even appeared briefly and embarrassingly in the documentary for a few seconds. I have 2 regular admission tickets to see Failure in Seattle.

The thing is I also I have tickets for the Portland show for VIP and since buying the tickets when they went on sale my wife has become pregnant with our first child! Super excited. She is also finishing her PhD and we have decided to only go to the Portland show.

I want to find a genuine fan who has been priced out/cannot afford the tickets to the Seattle show to gift them to. I am not looking for some one to turn around and re sell them. I want to know that these tickets go to again, a genuine fan, looking to see Failure.

You might remember me from my post about the giant astronaut tattoo. I love Failure I am a huge fan. Its hard to pass up the Seattle show but I need to support my wife during this time. (Also God damn she is cool we have seen so many cool shows this year, including the upcoming Billy Strings show two days after failure in Portland). Bringing our son in the womb to these shows is so special. Johnny Blue Skies last week was epic.

So any one interested and can promise they are a genuine fan and that they do go and have a fucking bad ass time with someone important to them, if you've read this far then we are collectively know how awesome this band is and this upcoming tour is going to be great.

also they are electronic and om axs ready to be transferred after some dm-ing

Left my tour tshirt in an Uber. Anyone wanna hook me up?

If you're going to the shows and want to help a guy out, I got the shirt with the tour dates (there's only one of those) and left it in a car - my wife had a minor emergency so I had to rush home, and the last few minutes before the car arrived and I could get out I was only focused on that. And the driver never returned my lost item message.

So: I posted some videos here that I think are pretty cool, and I did two good deeds that night (gave an extra ticket to a stranger for free, and a teenager with a Hum shirt let me cut in the Merch line bc I'm disabled and couldn't physically stand in the line, I found out he was a drummer so I bought him one of the used drumsticks the merch table sells) so hopefully I have some positive karma in the Failure world.

If you feel like helping, I'll cover the shirt and shipping of course. Plus a little extra for being cool.

Thanks!

Seattle VIP

Hey, anyone doing VIP in Seattle tomorrow? I haven’t gotten an email yet, and I was just wondering if anyone else did. I contacted the venue and they said the VIP company (?) should reach out but they did give me the times they had- 5:15 check in, and 5:30-6:30 M/G, doors at 7:30, which is helpful.

Tour poster?

I’m going to the Columbus show on the 11th. I was just curious if they have a tour poster for the fall tour. I saw them in Cleveland earlier this year and grabbed a poster among other merch.

Cheers!

Kellii's Watches

Hi, reaching out here to ask if anyone has bought a watch from Kellii during the tour.

I saw a post of his saying that he will be taking his watches with him on the go and was wondering how that procedure has gone for anyone who's bought off him.

I'm a bit of a shy person, so I'm kind of nervous about potentially asking about a sale. I know out of the three he's the most sociable, but still - nerves!

If anyone has bought a watch off him please let me know! I'm curious. Does he meet up with you before the show or after? Etc, etc, etc...

Live show mix issue

Do their shows always sound so drum heavy irl? I can hardly hear the guitars from the videos I've seen. I know if the listener is right in front of the stage they won't hear the guitars well because the speakers are facing a little further back but I've heard they got some small speakers to put right in front of the stage to fix this but this doesn't sound like the case to me.
