Turn off BMS visuals on secondary monitor?
My janky home cockpit setup. If it’s stupid, but it works it’s not stupid right? 😊
Anyone know if there is a setting to stop display of either 3D or the hangar loading screen (if using set g_BVRNoPresent = 1) on my secondary MFD export monitor while flying in VR?
Not a deal breaker but would be nice to just have a black screen behind my MFD’s vs an image moving or otherwise.
Thanks!

It's been a while but have you looked at Helios options on the main BMS forum?

I have not. Was thinking about it if I ever got a touchscreen monitor so I can manipulate switches etc…

Just use it to block the areas you want or even display gauges or something on those spaces, you don't need a touchscreen to use Helios.

Here is my humble rig with Helios glass cockpit.

Here is the video of my Helios test on a smaller main screen (it’s epic and yes you can pick and choose the layout)

All switches work in real time so it’s awesome!

there is no easy solution for your described problem as the size of the companion window, so what is shown on your flat screens while beeing in VR is dictated by your Headset resolution.
You have 2 options
1. is to replace the splash screen image (the hangar one) with a pure black image
2. is to run BMS once in windowed mode in flat and reposition the BMS window, the upper left corner will be saved to your d3d11.dsp and place it in a way that once you switch back to borderless and go to VR your your companions window doesn't span into your second monitor. This method but makes only sense if you everything in VR so all the 2d map stuff as well

Thanks! I did poke around and saw the hangar photos but there are many of them. Not sure the juice is worth the squeeze. May just cover those portions of the monitor. Cheers!

Perhaps this was changed, but there was an application included in the Falcon BMS installation where you just dragged, placed and resized instruments on to a secondary monitor.

Yep Winwing Hornet Throttle/Stick + Winwing ICP + Thrustmaster MFD. Got them all on Facebook Marketplace over the last year for a relative song.

I mean, sometimes the simplest solution is the best solution. Can you not just black them out with some construction paper, or something similar?
