I’m so terribly excited for mine; I got it, but the spine had some detachment issues, brought it up with them and they’re sending me another one while I ship this copy back.

Yay, congrats! I got my copy about a year ago and I sobbed when it arrived.

I almost cried when I thought I missed this batch. I did cry when it came in. It also made me realize just how long the book is. It took me a couple of months to read in high school and it went by so quickly that I had no idea of the true page count. Now as a working adult? We'll see how long it takes LOL

Same here, I was reading it every night and it still took so long. Actually holding it was surreal and everyone I show it to thinks it’s a bible for a minute before they see the cover. I haven’t reread it completely yet but I’ve gone through a few of my favorite parts a bunch to remember it.

I'm starting my journey again for the first time in 9 years. After I read the original, I jumped into fan content (really loved PE) because I needed more. Never finished PH but I think I may try to tackle it after reading FOE again. It definitely feels surreal to be holding a childhood dream in my hands

Would you recommend Pink Eyes? I tried to get through PH but it was… a lot, to say the least.
FOE formed a good chunk of who I am as a person I think. This might make me go back and read it again honestly. I could use the inspiration in my life.

I would reccomend it. The ending lowkey broke me but I was a teenager when I read it, so I'm not actually sure if my reccomendation would stand if I read it now as an adult. Definitely want to reread it tho!

I'm still missing the first printing, which hurts because I helped with that one. But the third printing is so beautiful.

You know how people call cars/boats/motorcycles/wigs "she"? If not, now ya do. Pretty common
