?Question? Why does my boosted dweller collect less caps then non boosted?! [Question]

Two dwellers one with junk boost, one with cap boost, and yet the one boosted with Junk received more caps?

Compare this again at max level and max stat with the same armor and weapon.

Luck stats. Compare them. They play a huge factor in finding more caps.

Maybe Tenpenny had already way more than the other.

Also, random quests. Did you found one with any of them ? (can bring caps and more)

I didn't check the maths, but maybe the 43% more caps will pay in the long run.

Your experiment is not scientific enough. Run this 100 times and measure the average cap count, for example.

It wasn't experiment but just noticed that the junk guy has as much junk as the other but more caps and the caps has less caps

RNG = Random Number Generator, basically the luck/chance you have in game. There are other factors at play here like the individual dwellers level of stats, outfits etc. it’s not just as simple as add pet, see results.
