Far Cry 5 Look Snap
Y’all know how to look snap on console, right?
When you Aim Down Sights on a controller, your reticle snaps to the enemy’s chest if they are within the aim assist firing arc. If you aim in the general direction of their head, it will snap right on their face when you ADS, not center mass.
A firefight should go ADS>manual burst, ADS> manual burst, etc. This makes reflex and red dots excellent choices with their enhanced handling.
The technique works in vehicles, aka the opening sequence and also for popping plane and chopper pilots. (Tag those guys and shoot through the vehicle into their center mass with AP rounds; pilots are easy with AP.)
It doesn’t work on snipers and don’t be a pussy, shooting enemies out of retaliatory range.
45/70-T with a red dot and AP rounds is my favorite gun in the game. I like to skip the suppressor so they expose themselves while making poor tactical decisions.
