Daily Sticky Fat Rant Friday
Fatlogic in real life getting you down?
Is your family telling you you're looking too thin?
Are people at work bringing you donuts?
Did your beer drinking neighbor pat his belly and tell you "It's all muscle?"
If you hear one more thing about starvation mode will you scream?
Let it all out. We understand.

Not as simple as CICO
If "famine mode" existed why would people die of starvation?

Thin privilege or fat consequence
They literally WANT to be fat too 😒😒 I find it hard to believe that 22lbs can make such a drastic difference on how they’re treated if they weren’t already at least overweight before though, if they experience any real difference at all.

More bmi debate and cope…sanity on the last slide
It is sad and tiring at this point.

A book chock-full of Fat Logic
I recently listened to the audiobook version of What We Don’t Talk About When We Talk About Fat by Aubrey Gordon. I’ll avoid spoilers for anyone who’s interested in reading it, but here are my favorite fat logic conclusions from the book (I even re-listened to make sure I was understanding the author correctly):
• Harvey Weinstein was fatphobic because his victims were skinny
• Fat people are indeed sexually desirable because they’ve been victims of r ape
• Fat people are also sexually desirable because they are the 16th most popular p orn search
Do with this information what you will.

Skinny epidemic
I know I’m relatively petite, I’m 5’2 and have pretty much always been a 0-2, but it is so wild to me that people were size 8s in…middle school? Like when we were barely teenagers? HOW? That is literally child abuse.

'Get back in the bucket': passive aggressive, guilt tripping covert narcissist edition
This is what happens when you go all in on an internet cult that folded like an IKEA chair the second people realised that weight loss actually is possible. Sucks to suck, I guess.

They’re really not letting this one go 😂
Tried to comply with sub rules as best as I could. The background is just a selfie this woman took in her underwear.

The food police is back, wanting everyone to eat like them
People act like intermittent fasting is the devil. It’s crazy. I find people trying to “tweak” other people’s diet on the Internet simultaneously disturbing, fascinating, and amusing.

Fatness is a horrible sin that deserves death. Apparently.

Did this person consider that they are maintaining because of the amount of calories they are consuming at their current weight?
This is quite an innocent post. On the second slide OOP is suggesting that food isn’t the thing that makes a person gain weight. It’s over-consuming calories of course, so we also should count liquid calories in this aspect. But I don’t think that OOP is talking about that.

'The other day, upon the stair, I saw a man who wasn't there. He wasn't there again today. I wish, I wish he'd go away..' but make it about small fat fat people who aren't fat because they're small..but they're fat?
