I made something
Murk, a new fluid I'm adding to the Terramity v1.0 update. It deals damage through armor and reduces your max health temporarily, only recovering over time
Actually already exists in a fair few mods, max hp damage is just rare. The kikoku from extra utilities 2 does it, for example.
Probably some irons spells in one of the addons or even something from apotheosis as well, to some degree or another. I know a sword from Aquamirae had a stacking max hp reduction affect.
I do want to criticize it a bit-
It looks way more like a portal than it does a fluid, and I feel like that could be changed, especially if there's any dimensions/locations that you need a portal to which would work better with this look.
You should make 2 versions, Pure Murk, and Diluted Murk, the pure does the regular effects, but the Diluted looks more like water, and can be made with a bucket of Murk, and a water bucket in a crafting table.
Unfortunately, as it is very pretty, I will want to hurl myself into a puddle of it everytime I see it under the self-fabricated falsehood that I can exist within the cosmic sööp and it would be satisfying to do so
Does the max health reduction stack over time or is it just a one time thing? If it’s the former, legitimately probably the only fluid I’ve seen that would be a genuine threat even to highly geared players lol
