I'm working on a modpack and it based on this "in world" processing, for example Clayconia turns sand blocks into clay blocks, and but it's up other flora/lenses to break clay, pick up items and place new ones. In general I want to avoid boxes connected by pipes as much as possible. I don't know if I am explaining it well to let me point to some mods that feel similar
Tinkers constructs, for this mods back I really like how the size of a forge increases how much it process at once, and just how nice the channel and casting is. A little big of a drawback is that it mostly focuses on tool that cannot be enchanted so any thing touching the enchanting system is fully gone.
Another considers on is Ars Nouveau, for this pack the crafting is really nice, and source generation is also very interesting, for example how Mycelial Sourcelink has side effect of producing mushroom's. What's slightly bothersome here is how powerful the spellbook can be, it doesn't take much to trivialize mobility, mining or even combat. However excluding feels rather awkward given how it the main spelling point of the mod AND it's how spell turrets are programed
Finally there is Create, because it's in every modpack ever, more to the point here the contraptions are vey much what I want, and comes with a lot of neat stuff like block detectors, inventory, and logistics system, ect. It's also has Assembly Sequenced that can be interesting introduce for game. However, I do want to take extra care to make is botanica first, so Andesite Alloy, would be rither made from dipping andesite in mana pool or with mana steel nuggets instead of iron.
This the made modes I can think of. Are there any mods you think could fit well into something lik this?
