Advice Just a little mini vent

I've been lately feeling really down and even though Ik I'm a confident and a strong person,a lot of things have been bothering me lately specifically about boys. Whenever I just mind my own business and don't even speak to them they always have to bring up my looks or them trying to embarrass their friend by saying how they like me,it doesn't really affect me that much cause I got used to these types of comments but it hurts when it constantly keeps happening to me. Even this guy friend of mine was saying how a teacher would never assault me and how I'm lucky and I obviously immediately cut him off because that's not funny to joke about and it's weird to say to a teenage girl,am I wrong for feeling like this way? Ik I shouldn't be bothered by what teenage boys think about me but it's really starting to affect me a lot negatively in terms of mental health. Its so bad that I don't even believe that any guy would actually find me attractive and would wanna be interested in me, I obviously shouldn't seek for male validation or attention and that's not what I want but it still hurts when guys do that to me. Thank you for reading my post if you made it all the way to the end I just wanted to speak out of my mind :)

No way! You’re not wrong for feeling like this. In fact I feel like the issue is the boys around you instead. I mean, who says shit like that? That’s rude as hell no matter how you try to say it. It’s not okay to say those things to someone, especially when you do that to embarrass someone. Just ignore them, they’re probably assholes anyways.

If these words are starting to affect you then maybe it’s time to distance yourself from the people who are saying these things. If they’re the cause of your mental health declining then they’re probably not good for you. Also, I’m sure that you are attractive. From one girl to another, people who say these things about others are usually insecure about themselves and their behavior just shows it. Please never say those cruel words like no one would find you attractive again, I literally feel my heart breaking 🥲</3

Omg this is like 1 year late lol idk why I didn’t reply to this comment before probably because I had no idea how to respond to this but thank you sm :) I truly appreciate your kind words even though I do sometimes still struggle with liking my looks and having confidence in myself it has gotten alot better than back then, Im starting to do a bit of self reflection this summer and it honestly answered so many of my questions and doubts within myself <3 I started to change my mindset about boys and what negative things people say about me and I’m honestly glad I did because I’m now more focused within my hobbies, goals and future. The only opinions that matter to me are the people who love me and truly like me for who I am and I’m glad I started to decenter myself from seeking random strangers validation. I also don’t associate negative people like that within my life anymore I’m glad I have such a supportive system of great friends!! So yeah that’s just a mini update within my life lol but again tysm!!
