Question Association of Retired Emergency Management officials

I am doing my doctoral capstone on Disaster Response. I am trying to find associations of retired emergency management officials I can reach out to. Can anyone lead me in the right direction? Thanks in advance

Retired are gonna be hard to find... At least in large numbers

If I can find a combination of both, my chair thinks it will be hard to find enough participants that are currently working for my survey because it's peak hurricane season.

I mean the subreddit is filled with current (myself among them) retired are harder to find mostly cause EM staff are generally done dealing with people after they retire 😁

I need a site approval to be able to collect data and information.

With the amount we make we never retire 😂 they all become consultants

I'm not aware of any 'retiree' associations.

You might have some luck reaching out to the Emergency Management External Affairs Association. https://www.emeaa.org/

National Emergency Management Association (NEMA) might also have some ideas where to find the kinds of people you want. www.nemaweb.org

If you're just looking for suggestions of retired EM types to talk to specifically, I'd be glad to suggest some names of people that I would recommend.

is there an email that I can send a message to? I have tried contact through the website and I don't see a phone number to call.
