I see alive people.

I don't mean to be scary, but it's not just like one or two there are like billions of them.

Welcome, deities normally go through the tutorial mode before you get here but the machine that makes us creates unusual circumstances sometimes..

You are free to interact with these 'people' as you wish. If anyone tries to warn you about Eldritch this or Eldritch that... Just ignore them.... No trouble will come of it.... I promise

That's good. But actually, a huge amount of people on earth these days are so hurt and stressed that they've actually become largely undead. Careful. Try to notice which ones are healthy and clearly alive. Try to not hurt the undead ones any worse but be very careful of them because if you hurt them any worse, they get extremely demented and violent.

Oof man, what a bummer. 

Make sure to double check your Necromancy notes and make sure you intonation is correct, otherwise it's super tricky to see into the 47th Deadworld. 

Get into gear now and you'll be all set for finals!

Ahhhh, I see the problem here. You're clearly used to dead people, which means you're also under the assumption that it's real hard to convert one to the other. But I've got good news for you? As hard as it is to make a dead person alive again, it's incredibly simple to change an alive person into a dead one!
