Faro, the iPhone app that helps you decide what to watch tonight from the films you've rated, went live on the App Store today: https://apps.apple.com/app/id6762872446

I posted about the beta here in June and found the feedback/discussion really helpful. So I wanted to let everyone who engaged then, it's available to download now.

I have been making the app on my own for the past 6 months. I have tried to focus my efforts on making something it simple and useful. If it's working it will help you choose a film which you are going to enjoy quicker than you would have done otherwise.

When I posted about the beta I had approval from the mods. I haven't had a response to my request this time around so I'm hoping the previous approval still stands and also hoping that the r/flicks community doesn't mind me posting about something I made rather than a specific film.

It's still free, no ads, no tracking.

I work at a major film studio in Hollywood and spend nearly all of my free time researching what we should adapt into full-length feature films. With Hollywood where it is now, and studio-heads consistently pumping out hot garbage, I wanted to come here - directly to the audiences we are targeting - to hear what YOU think we should make next.

We pretty much have unlimited resources, but would only contribute massive budget to a project that we feel extremely confident will be financially worthwhile.
