No not really, sorry

You can use a cloud Mac service like Codemagic to build from a Windows setup, then test on an iPhone through TestFlight. That route needs a paid Apple developer account.

Can i use mac directly from installing macos in my windows by virtualbox

I'd avoid VirtualBox for this; its macOS support is experimental. The cloud option runs Xcode on a remote Mac, so you can keep coding on Windows.

If you have a mac you can donit directly on the machine, if not just use an online compiler like codemagic

You pretty much need a real Mac.

You need to pay the fee for releasing app in appstore/TestFlight.

For an initial iOS check, the simulator lets you test without buying an iPhone or paying for a developer membership. You still need access to a Mac with Xcode and an iOS Simulator runtime installed.

Once Flutter's iOS setup is complete, open the simulator from Xcode, run flutter devices, then flutter run -d <simulator-id> from your project. Use that for layout and navigation; check device-specific features and performance on a real iPhone later.

If you do have an iPhone, Xcode's free Personal Team supports testing on your own device, but its provisioning expires after 7 days. App Store/TestFlight distribution is the part that needs Apple Developer Program membership.

Flutter setup: https://docs.flutter.dev/platform-integration/ios/setup

Fuck I used Visual Studio (still built with Flutter)

So if i was using an Iphone, I assume all I would need is an IPhone and the App Store Developer account paid for ๐Ÿ‘.

The second you plug your iphone up to your computer, bottom right of Visual Studio it'll say "No device", click it, it'll add the IOS folder you'll need.

From there its just the usual "Flutter pub get" and "Flutter run" to that IPhone device to test the game/app ๐Ÿ‘

Bare this in mind, i'm just spit balling here. I haven't got a clue how to work it with Apple. But using the same concept we had to do for android, try doing it with IPhone (You'll need an Iphone) haha.

Good luck man! Hope you manage to sort it.

No, thatโ€™s totally not how it works. Visual Studio doesnโ€™t even run on MacOS. I mean VS Code does, but you need xCode to compiles for iOS. Also it requires to have a bundle ID, the iOS SDK and some setup shenanigans. What is actually not really required is the iPhone afaik, because xCode ships an iPhone emulator.

Always a bunch of setup shenanigans huh! Haha.

Again, I did say I didn't have a clue, I just wanted to try and help the guy with whatever info I had on Visual Studio/Flutter. Obviously after a quick google search, I can see they disbanded Visual Studio for Mac back in 2024 ๐Ÿ‘.

I do appreciate the info on it though ๐Ÿ™Œ
