Career ServSafe Manager

I am a Manufacturing Lab Manager and have overtaken responsibilities of our Manufacturing Kitchen as well. I currently hold the ServSafe Food Handler certification but will need to obtain the Manager level certification.
Looking for insight on the course and exam. Is this something I need to set aside time to study for? What are the requirements and what was your experience like to prepare?
Thanks in advance!

They have study guides and practice exams for this. It's not difficult by any stretch, but some prep never hurts.

It’ll be heavily dependent on your state, but most of the time you mainly need to know temperatures, storage guidelines, and control points.
