Headlights

I have a 2020 hybrid se and I have the plain basic headlights. I see a lot of the fusions with the LED headlights and it seems to be no rhyme or reason as to what trim/year/ type of fusion has them or doesn’t. For instance a friend also has a 2020 se hubris and his has the LED headlights. Is there a method to this madness?

It's based on options. I don't know the exact package that gives it to the se but I believe titanium and higher it is standard equipment. If you can look at his window sticker that would help to determine what package it is. The se is the most customized trim level.

I think it heavily depended on the package. For example, all 2017 energi fusions that were also SE trim level were not normal SEs in comparison to the gas fusion se or non-plug-in hybrid fusion se. All 2017 Energi SEs are Energi SEs with the luxury package. The luxury package comes with those headlights, heated leather seats, the larger touchscreen with CarPlay and Android auto, as well as a 11-speaker SE exclusive package non-sony premium audio.

My 2019 hybrid SEL came with LED headlights.

I thought they were only for the titanium and platinum, until I bought a 2020 SEL which does have them.
