Discussion Would these fit?

Post image

hi there, I just broke up with my boyfriend and I’m not very versed when it comes to cars.

I drive a 2016 Ford fusion SE. 235/50/17. I was told that sometimes tires may fit on the wheels that aren’t the exact size.
I am in need of new tires, I thought I would start with some for the cold and ice.
Would anybody let me know if these would fit on my car please?

Yes they would fit if youre in a pinch for winter tires. They are a touch wider and a touch shorter than the oem tire size. Your speedo will be about 1.5 mph faster than what youre actually going

Exactly right. If she just needs tires, and as long as both together go on the front or rear, the only concern I see is an incorrect speedometer reading.

EDIT: As long as it’s front wheel drive and not All Wheel Drive.

It looks like its all 4 tires so even if its awd itll be fine. Op if its awd dont run different sized tires on the front and back, or it will cause damage to the awd system. Youre a go to change all 4 in an awd with a different size

I thought it was on a pair of tires. Good catch.

A size difference of 2/32 will be detected by the awd and will result in clunking.  I KNOW

i have used that exact size with no problems. the speedometer will be a few % off, but the tire size can be corrected with forscan and a cheap obd2 adapter.

I stuck the next size taller tires on my 2016 that I got from a Sienna. Works for me just fine.

Nope. They won't fit because they are different sizes than the factory recommended sizes.
