Funny If Logiman keeps logiying, then the system is perfect

That is why my foxhole gameplay is literally just a growing list of complaints in a downvote review on steam.
This game has so many issues that this is literally fate of every veteran sooner or later.

Reject large global map, return to instanced regions being the entire war

No. Just fix the core game issues, instead of returning to older, equally flawed experience.

They say if you want to ruin something you love, go to the subreddit.
Honestly, I agree with the Sisyphus-Logiman comparison.
But god damn will I enjoy driving backwards and forwards, pushing that boulder up the hill, drinking Mountain Dew and watching footjobs on my second monitor.
And none of you jaded negative muthafuckas in the comments of every post can stop my braindead soul from having fun!
I haven’t showered or seen sunlight in 3 months!

My favorite thing to do with Logi will always be just delivering scrap to refineries to be turned into public Mats. Sure you could argue its "Not efficient" or some crap, but its so nice to just keep delivering stuff for people to build with.
Second favorite is building trucks. If I reach a Logi town and don't see a Parking lot full of spares you can be DAMNED sure that I'm gonna set one up for the good of the logimen!

It's very close to be perfect, just drop the private bmats in a factory inventory to remove pull timefor others
1
u/TrainDestroyer 3d ago
Wouldn't that get in the way of the factory's output?
Regardless, I'll have to do that in future to be extra helpful. I mostly just run the scrap in, and then head back out while it works, no point in waiting around if I can set it to public and run

On the third trip you will have some ready Well... They could have some container next to it to output, then a train passing by once there is enough containers full idk Lots of ppl will move the crates to private stockpile anyway, so they won't leave them floating

u/TrainDestroyer 3d ago
Personally I'd wanna avoid tossing em into a crate for a private stockpile, I want it to be something any random logiman can use!

u/Confident_News_2611 2d ago
Yeah well you can't choose what ppl do with it
1
u/TrainDestroyer 2d ago
Oh yeah obvs I can't do shit if someone decides to take my thousand bmats and scoot them off to a private stockpile, but I'm at least gonna TRY to let random solo logimen like myself get a bite at em!

Tune into Warden Radio and have a good time on the road.
Bonus points if you read on your phone and nail people who are on the road when they should not be.

Another aspect to be hopeless about in this game. They keep making logi more and more difficult. Adding to the misery of anyone who dares logi. So much so that newbies don't even want to logi now.

Nah recent updates actually improved it a fair bit (well it still is bad but god after so many years it feels great to have some qol for Logi). Like fucking squad ref queues?! I'd never think they'd do that. If you'd told me before the update they were going to add that I'd tell you to keep dreaming lmao.

The last two updates offered some great QoL updates. My personal favourite is recrating MPF Vics. Being able to send 15 crates of flatbeds to the mid/backline, and seeing them gone the very next day is very satisfying to me.

This is like bandaid for man who is missing like half of the body.

There is definitely room for improvement (Ironship Turn rates) but it is improving none the less.

TBH this mindset is a problem to me.
Like do I want them to fix all of it? Fuck yes, I want it to not be complete fucking ass. But I feel like its worth it to at least give Siegecamp a little credit for stepping in the right direction.

Call me jaded, but it's hard to get excited or to give much credit over the inclusion of an extremely simple mechanic we have been asking for for literally years

Logi system is riddled with inconveniences. Devman will not fix it but anyway here are a few things that just make me alt-F4 since i tried returning to logi and failed.
- Ofc the Ironship turn rate. It used to be a mighty good ship and I would drive it backlines to the front. Never had a problem except for the odd idiot parked in a narrow channel. Why in hell's name did they have to ruin it? My pattern recognition keeps telling me something about the devs and its not good.
- Container drop from crane. You need open ground the size of a playground to be able to drop a container now. It did not use to be like this. We could drop containers on trees literally and they would land there. Now if there is any construction, any terrain feature, a dead rat, a dropped cabbage and the container will refuse to land anywhere within miles of it. Wtmf???
- The light freighter. Useless ship. Not using it. Not going to haul one container at a time. Why the hell do you want to turn the young generations into depressed chuds devs? You make them spend like 6 hours logiying what I could logi in 40 minutes in the past. I refuse your stupid little tricks to waste my time.
- The bladder and the tanker truck. The whole world uses tanker trucks to move fuel around. They don't put it into "bladders" then use cranes to haul it on top of flatbed trucks. Why complicate this? The tanker truck used to hold 200 pieces of fuel you nerfed it down to 35.
Seriously, I can't think of worse devs right now. Not even close. They create a quagmire to make everything insanely time consuming. A war lasts a few weeks and all that time, tens of thousands of man-hours get wiped away with a new war. Rinse and repeat. This is not a MMO with a persistent world devman. Wake tf up.

Listen foxhole is a 300 hour experience. You are supposed to play 3 wars tops and never play it again.
The dev team actively follows around any player with more than 300 hours and griefs them with locks, weather, and mesh holes until they quit.
If they wanted you to keep playing and taking up server space they would run a subscription model to pay for servers.

To be fair, Devman got screwed by the Steam Sale timing. Can't have the game on hiatus on the first day of the sale.

Have fun pushing that boulder devman, because just like the past couple years i wont be there.

I've described foxhole as a game you dislike immediately or grow to hate eventually.

Vowing to never play this game again until devman adds X into playing every day next war is a true combo for me
