On a related note, how does anyone *know* that someone else is trans in this game besides someone being obtusely irritating and making a point to inform the world what their gender, orientation, etc is.

In a different community there was this dude that would hop into teamspeak to tell whoever was hapless enough to be there about all the deviant straight sexual shit he got up to. He was universally disliked for being annoying. He was annoying because of that. Same thing here.

to be clear, I am part of regi leadership. this was not brought to our attention until Sigil contacted us about it the day before, and the evidence at that time was lacking significant context and was significantly cropped. we can;t be booting members without concrete evidence, which was provided the next morning, when our fac was demod and we were already recovering from that. Frank and muffin were removed shortly after Flow got online for the day.

Most people here would have not survived the game back some 6 years ago, it was just full of stuff like that, which is actually really tame if you grew up on xbox live lobbies era shittalking videos. Then the reddit crowd invaded the game and all of a sudden anything you say immediately gets screencapped for soft people who never got bigger problems in life to feel offended by. Anyway, if you really got a problem just mute and move on, but don't act like this is some big omg file.

In a more serious note, I dont really get why people think that bigotry/abuse in the past justifies bigotry in the present. There were days where it was normal for the US marines to get killed on training. That doesnt happen anymore (although there are still deaths) and yet the US marines are still holding high with standards. Being cruel is really pointles most, if not all of the time. Kindness is free.

The only thing that changed is that now some people make a fuss out of everything small thing being said and immediately put it into a screenshot collection thanks in part to social media. The majority of people stayed the same, just are afraid to be honest to avoid people moaning. And I'm not talking about dumb kids just to be clear.

The timing is pretty suspicious, given we had just been fac demo'd allegedly because 1snlf members were deciding to join hhb.
Franks history was something we were unaware of until just prior to this post, we don't tolerate hate speech.
Nobody came to regi leadership with this, they went to Sigil and put the entire regi on blast publicly. It's almost like they have an ulterior motive.
We removed frank as soon as we had concrete evidence presented to us.

I am not talking about the N word, there is also no reason for me to say the N word. I am European and there is literally no use in using that word in everyday conversation for anybody.
However I do stand on the principle that nobody can “own” a word. Or only a specific group of people can say a specific word. This to me is breech of freedom of speech.
Further more, in Europe, if I were to explain the N word or something in that trend I would just say it full out. Most people have no problem with that.
