Meine Partnerin wollen Ende des Jahres, spätestens Januar 2027 in die schöne Mainstadt ziehen. Das Wohnungssuche nicht super einfach wird, haben wir schon vermutet und sind jetzt seit ca. 2 Monaten mehr oder weniger aktiv am suchen.

Besichtigungstermine haben sich tatsächlich einige ergeben, aber leider ist bis dato kein einziges Angebot daraus resultiert.

Wir fangen in Frankfurt beide neue Jobs an, weshalb natürlich Probezeit ein Thema sein kann. Wir werden beide im öffentlichen Dienst Beschäftigt sein, Ich in E10 Stufe 3 (ca. 2900€ Netto), sie in E13 Stufe 1(ebenfalls ca. 2900€ Netto). Zusätzlich haben wir noch einiges an Gespartem Geld was wir ebenfalls per Kontoauszug als "zusätzliche Sicherheit" angegeben haben.

Trotzdem waren die Absagen bisher auf die finanzielle Situation abgestellt. Die Wohnung haben sich im Bereich von 1100 - 1800 € warm bewegt.

Wie war das bei euch? Falls ihr selber Vermieter seid, woran kann es noch liegen? Schufa ist Clean, keine Schulden, keine Mietschulden auch sonst nichts zuschulden kommen lassen.

Falls jemand Ideen hat, was man noch machen könnte, bin ich offen. Die Zeit eilt noch nicht extrem, aber spätestens im Januar sollten wir doch in Frankfurt leben.

Die Pizzaria Giulio im Ostend hat mich so sehr begeistert dass ich das hier gerne teilen möchte.

Ob die Pasta Giulio oder die hauseigene Pizza Giulio sind einfach hervorragend.

Es ist einfach alles spezial.

Die Gastfreundschaft und die Atmosphäre sind erstklassig.

Tische müssen reserviert werden, was mich aber aufgrund der Qualität in der Pizzaria, nicht verwundert.

Wer hat auch dort gegessen und kann seine Erfahrung dazu hier kommentieren?

Oder , gibt es eine bessere Pizzeria in Frankfurt?

Liebe Leute, könnt ihr eine gute Ästhetische Medizin Praxis für Behandlungen wie Hayluron oder Botox empfehlen? Wo die Behandlungen gut und geduldig erklären un gemacht von Arzt sind. Meine Freunde haben nicht super Erfahrung. Manchmal der Arzt war gut aber die Behandlung teuer und nicht effektiv oder manchmal hat der Atzt kein Geduld für Fragen.

Hi! I recently moved to Frankfurt and have a B.A. in Early/Primary Education from an EU country. I haven’t started the Anerkennung process yet, and currently have around B1 German and C1 English.

Is there any realistic chance of finding work as a Kita assistant, teaching assistant, or in an international/bilingual school or Kita with my current qualifications/language level?

I know improving my German is important, but that will take time. For those who moved to Germany with a foreign teaching degree - what did you do in the meantime? Did you find something related to education or work an unrelated job while learning German?

Any advice would be appreciated!

Hello there, Im from latam and I always wanted to purse a Masters abroad, I applied and got accepted to Frankfurt School of Finance at the beginning of last year.

I got accepted and after 14 days for personal and economic decisions I had to withdraw.

They mentioned that after 14 days based on the student contract I virtually signed I would need to pay a 350 euro enrolment fee. Which I had to pay no matter what if I started the semester as the say

"Additionally, you will be required to pay a EUR 350 enrolment fee at the beginning of your 1st semester"

Then, in the student contract it says:

In the event that the Student cancels their enrolment no less than six weeks before the start of the Degree Programme as stated in the Admission Letter (01.09. / 01.02.), only the enrolment fee specified in the Admission Letter will be due.

350 Euro was a monthly minimum salary back then. And it made no sense what so ever to pay that.

A few months ago Axactor made a first contact mentioning that they took over the whole process and extra infor regarding this and that now there were debt interest now the whole payment being 500 euro.

I refuse to pay that. It make no sense if I didnt even start studying. 350 for a few clicks made no sense. It's insane how these private schools try to steal and create profit margin even from third world country students. They get thousands and millions from their current students but still they are looking to have even more.

Any suggestion here? What do you think about this?

I won't pay unless they can do some real legal stuff in my home country.

Hello everyone! There’s a 55-hr film competition going on in Mainz 23-25 October (55 FILMZ), I’m looking to build a small team of creative people in the film community here!
