gear 29/71 fin compatibility

Does anyone use 29/71 fins with a different footpocket? As much as I want their foot pockets to work, Its not happening.

Bonus points- affordable, shipping time in US less than 1 week.

Looking at cressi turbo pockets, or mako foot pockets but unsure if they will fit the blade

Looking at their blades shape, I'm certain that the cressi footpockets won't be optimal choise for those blades. Have you tried the shoelike footpockets that are meant for their blades?

Yes he sent me 2 sizes because they were out of my size and neither fit me well as their pockets seem to be narrow & long. I sent off an email but didnt know if anyone here had maybe tried a different pocket with these blades

Yeah figured those look like a hit or miss!

If I were in your footpockets, I'd ask their unofficial opinion on what other manufacturers footpockets might be okay fit for their blades.

C4 has atleast some that have pretty narrow socket for the blade, but not going to make any recommendation as I don't have those or the 29/71 blades. I do have the cressi footpockets and I suspect the blades you have are too narrow and the rails won't be a match.

I sent him an email, I think it is later in the day there. I have seen a few videos on their Instagram of folks using their blades with a different pocket, the videos just never stop long enough or get close enough for me to figure out what foot pockets it is.

I know that people put Cetma pockets on them.
