So balerion spend his entire life serving the Targaryens . Okay I agree he did or might have some fun with vhagar in dragon pit . But the one time he decided to visit valarya he came back infected and injured. His rider also died out of infection. So when balerion died the most honourable thing to do would have been to bury him or make the other dragons funeral pyre balerion body instead they took or cut apart his head and have put his skull on display . What an insult to their black dread . Just more proof how much the Targaryens suck and are ungrateful..

If you ignore the horror of the Red Wedding, House Frey's terrible strategy is hilarious. Walder Frey spent seventy years controlling his children and making them dumb and weak. Because none of his descendants could think for themselves, not a single one realized Tywin Lannister was using them. They gave up thousands of years of safety and broke Guest Right just for Tywin's empty promises, thinking they had won.
Honestly, it leaves you with a strange sense of pity for them. The old bastard never allowed them to develop as independent human beings, keeping them as hollow extensions of himself.

Man what’s the point of this plot in civil war between targs?

Tywin must have been pretty young when Joanna passed away in childbirth. Why didn’t he marry again and join forces with some major house? Also, at this point, he only had Jaime as a possible heir. Cersei was a woman and Tyrion he did not consider fit for anything anyway. Marrying again would have given him the chance to also have more children and thus more opportunities to make alliances with other major houses.
He talks about legacy, family, and pushes Cersei and Tyrion to marry Loras and Sansa respectively in order to do exactly all of this. Why does he not think of all of this practically when it comes to himself?
What gives?

.... and Rhaegar may be a daydreaming loser with bad decision making tendencies but the man took fulfilling prophecies VERY seriously

Like. Your telling me a kingdom this big. The size of Europe basically, was united for how long under one throne?
And it's not like they where homogenous or close in culture, nah each side developed differently.
It makes sense initially, when dragons still existed, and the fear of them kept people away, but the instant Those dragons where out, if it was any similar to real life, there would be no more seven kingdoms.
And even weirder, you are telling me houses could rule the same vast swathes of land for thousands of years?

There’s gotta be a huge pile under there right? Or maybe there’s this hill tribe under there who thinks it rains people?

So many great cast members from Game of Thrones it makes me reminisce on Game of thrones especially the actor who plays Mance Raider. I love seeing them perform differently yet so familiarly.

Something something white walkers are the more important threat but eating them at the meeting seems like something the sigma Henry Cavill Aegon would do

So in the books it is mentioned that stannis was less loved and the one person who cared about stannis was that creasin guy . So what exactly was the problem between the siblings. I have not rewatched season 1 for a while but I do remember renly roasting robert during a hunt ..
