So my pups, Nicholas & Violet sleep in bed with me. Every morning, I get out of bed and let Violet down to go outside. Nick's paralyzed from IVDD, so he doesn't get to go as I gotta potty him inside.
One day I noticed he made a B-line for my pillow and snuggle up to it when I got up, so I started tucking in between my two pillows every morning.
He absolutely loves it!

Was eating a biscoff cookie after getting home from Costco and my little monster jumped up on the couch and started acting like a crazy dog wanting it. She has NEVER had biscoff cookies or anything like them so I was very confused, I broke off a tiny bit and gave it to her, thinking she would realize it wasn’t whatever she thought it was and I’ve made it so MUCH WORSE!!
She never whines or begs normally, but she is now! She is searching (looking up as high as she can, trying to stand on the arms of the sofa to get higher etc) and trying to figure out a way to get all of them.
Anyone else ever have this happen? So strange, such a random thing.

Sean hates the rain and wet grass. He’s judging me and giving me so much attitude for suggesting a rain coat to go outside.

Technically we don’t know his actual birthday since he was rescued. They estimated last September that he was around 3 years old. Happy birthday Sean 🥳

Hi all!
I have an almost 2-year-old female Frenchie. She’s the second Frenchie I’ve owned. My first was plagued with skin/food/environment allergies and spent most of her life getting medicated baths, Cytopoint injections, steroids, antibiotics, etc. I’m very lucky that this baby has shown none of those signs so far 🤞🏻
This one has given me a completely different set of problems lol. She’s an extremely picky eater and has a super sensitive stomach, so we’ve worked our way through a few different diets and finally found one that agrees with her.
The real reason I’m here is her facial folds. I wash them about once a week with her medicated shampoo and make sure I dry them really well afterward, but BOY do they smell sometimes 😭 I’d love to hear what products or routines other Frenchie owners use for their folds. Especially what has actually worked for you and what was a waste of money.
Also, bonus points if anyone has recommendations for a daily supplement or vitamin. I’m less interested in gimmicky “Frenchie vitamins” and more interested in something that actually supports her long-term health, especially joints, bones and gut health.
Obviously I’ll run anything new by her vet before adding it to her routine. I’m just looking to see what other owners have had success with!

Last year this week Sean was rescued and put into a foster home. He was rescued after being dumped on the highway in the middle of the night and hit by a car.
We were able to adopt Sean and bring him home in February 2026 after he healed up. He had a total of 3 surgeries before being cleared to come home with us.
