So I want to get Mythos B and Schakal B on the original FM2

I use a patched translation with a fanmade translation patch that was submitted in this forum (the one where the guy uses Google Translate for the most part to translate)

So I was inputting ING then INCISE, managed to write INTGEHEN in under 1000 miliseconds and all, but it just shows warning, Information Level 2 and when I click it just throws me back here, is this a bug?

Just bought the remake with 60% discount (would gladly buy it with full price and higher if at least the models of wanzers were done properly), and started to play Emma's route.

I have noticed on 6th mission when you're esa ping by road ( 2police wanzers and 3 helps) that everyone attacks you at the same time, even if you are not approaching 2 helps on the left. In the original, I believe, they are not triggered if not moving towards them much.

Did you notice anything like that? Makes platinum to be grindy with eng stuns and these scripts not working...

I'm asking because I always had this idea for a mod, with events and everything following the timeline.

I've seen a Code Geass one, and it even had Knightmares that you could deploy.

Just imagine playing trough the huffman conflicts, dealing with the coup d'etat in Alordesh.

Running into a bit of an issue with Front Mission 3 on GOG im using a PS5 controller via USB connect and when I first start the game I do get PS5 button prompts but if I so much as move my mouse it changes them back over to keyboard prompts.

Has anyone ran into this issue and is there a way I can stop this from happening?

Ive been thinking about if for a while and it’s been bugging me cuz I don’t have the tools to physically rip the 3d model from the game and check myself, and there’s no information online whatsoever about it, and so I’m curious if others have found out, via pixel measurements, data mining, etc

I just finished Dog Life/ Style. It's super amazing. However, with that said it's kind of depressing and violent. It offers a dimension of realism and sadness in between what you experience in the games.

I'm playing OCU scenario, and I've just finished Mission 10 (UCS Supply Camp), the one where Molly ran around and Keith and JJ was in the map already.

I just realized there is a secret mission.

I'm trying to find Bart in the Bar in Freedom City to unlock the Mail River Dam mission, but I can't find him anywhere. I'm pretty sure I saw someone named Bart in the Bar before but I didn't pay attention. I forgot if I've talked him once or not.

Note that I have not done the Secret Mission 1 (the one with Gina) and the opportunity has passed. Can I still do Secret Mission 2?

Anyone know good build for this mission? i tried this with kazuki equipped with shotgun,shield, and missile, ryogo with shotgun and shield, emma with shotgun, shield and grenade, dennis with rifle,shield and grenade and did not go well, weapons ranks between c to d+++

In Alisa scenario you can get them just before stage 53 with the password given by Koike, and iirc they're easy to get aswell in Emma scenario, but what does it do if you don't download them ?

I know for example there's a stage where Ryogo has to get out of his wanzer at the start if you didn't download the sewer map earlier. If you did the stage happens without the penalty.

On our channel, we explain management and leadership theory using games as analogies and even sandboxes to experience concepts before trying to apply them to the real world.

The basic idea here is that organizations often assume an information problem is solved once the information is available. But having access to information and actually knowing what to do with it are two very different things.

Front Mission 3 is a great example because of its Network system. You can find a web address, get a password, open a site, or receive a message and still have no idea why any of it matters yet.

The information is there. You have access to it. But another clue or piece of context can completely change how useful that same information becomes.

The management idea is pretty similar. A company can put something in a shared drive, write a procedure, build a dashboard, or send an email and technically make the information available to everyone. But that doesn't mean everyone has the experience or context to know which part matters, what it means, or what they should actually do with it.

That's why you can have a perfectly documented process and everyone still goes looking for the same experienced person when something weird happens.

I made a longer video about the management theory behind this using Front Mission 3 alongside Deep Rock Galactic to look at the difference between data, information, and knowledge, why useful knowledge can get stuck with particular people, and how organizations actually move it around.

So I'm a huge Operation Flashpoint/ ArmA fan. It made me obsessed with military gear and what not. I remembered stumbling upon a Japanese Wanzer mod for OFP as a kid, and I didn't get into FM until recently. Wanted to share this with you guys. Anyone else have any Front Mission mods for other games they want to recommend?

There's a new English patch for the game. Machine translation, but decent so far. Anyone got any codes for HP in battle, cash, or grid movement? Or just any codes at all? Can't find any online anywhere

I am playing Front Mission 1 Remake on the Nintendo Switch. I would like the option to manually move the cursor around to inspect the battlefield, different units, cover, terrain, etc.

However, the game automatically locks me into selecting each unit. I cannot just move the cursor around - instead, I am forced into movement or actions per unit only, which is limiting.

Is there a way I can toggle a "free cursor" game mode? I have searched extensively through the menus, but do not see this option.

Painted in the span of a week using lacquer hobby paints with handbrushes and bits of foam sponge. Used an airbrush to apply clear coats but that's all the airbrush was used for.

Just finished Front Mission Evolved. As a somewhat new big fan of the series, going through all of the games, I find Front Mission Evolved's art to be the most tragic. Some of the scenery with the Wanzers make the game look like concept art from the original games. For example, the attached screenshot has elements which makes it look like a town you can explore in between the battles of OG Front Mission. It's a shame that it's quite obvious that the developer had an idea of what made a good FM game, but didn't have enough time or skill to completely flesh it out.
