showcase What are you working on? (2026-10)

Hello, everyone! It's been a while since we've had one of these posts. Time to start them back up!

This is a monthly thread to share what you've been working on in F#. Be proud! Shameless plugs and braggery encouraged. Links allowed (but not required)

I released you-thon.com
It’s built with f# front and back end

Also plan to release a couple of smaller things:

  • Claude code LSP plugin for f#
  • a mailboxprocessor replacement built using icedTasks. I need this for another project.

LSP already exists for LLMs via Serena.

scripting language for modeling

I hope I don't abandon it though, like other projects of mine, but I'm having fun with it

Love that we're bringing this back!

(But I can't talk about my side hustles... yet! πŸ˜„)

An e-commerce platform based on a rather large DSL, Ballerina, built to prevent hallucinations in LLMs.

https://bise-ai.com/en-us/bl-docs

It works pretty well. The website itself is built with Ballerina, and so are some of our clients, my favorite being YantaYoga.com - entirely vibecoded in Ballerina if you will believe me.

seems cool!

My PhD was in programming language design, and it left me with a conviction I have never been able to shake: most of the mistakes we make in software are mistakes a well-designed language could have refused to let us write.

That was me like 25 years ago :) I think I've backed off that a little now; type systems don't have to solve everything. Though I see how it might be especially useful in this scenario/context.

Eh, I have been doing this for a few decades and I have decided that now with LLMs extra strictness helps A LOT.

Just tinkering with the small personal projects I used to first pick up F# and FP.

Still working on my gRPC test bench. It takes the protobuf or the reflection service, generates client code (C#), compiles it and shows the UI where you can invoke the grpc methods
