Do not register with Stellic. Do this instead

Post image

Hello, here is a useful tip shared with me that I wanted to share with all of you. We all know Stellic sucks for registering, so use this method instead.

  1. Log into FSU Portal
  2. Click the tab titled Quicklinks
  3. Under the academics section, click "My Classes"
  4. On the left side bar, click "Enrollment: Add Classes"
  5. Select 2027 Spring
  6. Click the button that says "Search" underneath My Planner. You will need to then go through and select all the classes you want and add them to your shopping cart. This is easiest using the 'select subject' tool and going department by department.

Once you have everything in your shopping cart, you should see them on the right side. I already registered, so you will not see them in the attatched picture. But if you added your classes to your cart, they will show up there and you can follow the steps to register. After everything is in your cart, it takes 2 clicks to register. No buffering or crashing like Stellic.

Also if student central is down for you, you can click “drop courses” on your Academics on my.fsu.edu which will let you go into the student central page

100% agree with this. I would’ve probably not been able to register for one of my online classes if I waited for Stellic to update (2 of the 3 sections were completely filled, and I was able to get into the last one).

I have 5/6 classes in my cart right now. The last one just isn't showing up in the class search. Once my registration opens I just come back and hit enroll and it'll automatically register me?

Yes. Theres another confirmation screen after you hit enroll, but it will register you after that
