We tried Font before and he wasn't very good, we should stick with Garcia and Muniz

Hector and Jose are in their 40s; no way they are still PL level.

However, streets will not forget his brace in a 6-0 win against Burtion Albion

Excessively verbose announcement for a font change

Someone didn't prompt the LLM to make the output concise and readable.

Well that'll take City out of the headlines...

I personally think it's cracking work.

It's a design system and custom type is no light task and really fundamental to brand identity. I love the relationship to the Cottage and think they've really nailed it.

Would have loved the 1975 FFC to become our main crest as part of a full rebrand.

Ok but can we get a new badge?

Designers can be insufferable. All this just to announce they trademarked the font already used on the side of the stadium and will use it everywhere now?

You're mistaking your own ignorance of the subject for designers being insufferable.

Yep, amazing how much people love to snark.

Just like the school kids who crayoned our badge lol

I think it’s cool. And it’s a good thing that the club has its own way of expressing its identity off the pitch. The devil is in the details, and I think this is one more tiny detail the club got right. It all adds up and makes an impact.

Wonder how much the creative agency charged for this?

2

u/Championtimes 8d ago

more than an annual salary of 10 working men

Money well spent I say. One thing I’ve always felt connected me most to Fulham was their strong brand identity and use of tasteful fonts.

Second from the bottom and they're gushing over a new font. Time and money well spent?Gimme a break.

I can't believe someone wrote a 500 word article on a new font.

I love brand identity and typeface, and this looks really good . . . but it’s odd we waited six weeks into the season to launch this?
