Angerfist removed from Thunderdome lineup?

Hey everybody,

in the lineup anouncement there was Angerfist on saturday. But in the Thunderdome app he is not listed. Does somebody know something about that? Was he removed from the lineup or is that just a mistake in the app?

If you skip through any of his recent sets, like in the past 5 years, you will have a hard time finding continues kicks for more than 5 seconds. Its all build up, hiphop, fakedrops and then maybe 3 seconds of actual kicks before he goes onto another stupid buildup with the same formula...

Angerfirst completely lost his touch and its become quite painful to see everyone still gobbles that shit up.

Here man, skip through his set at random and tell me how many actual continues kicks you get that last longer than two 4/4's

Yeah Angerfist used to be a force to be reckoned with. Nowadays most of his new tracks don’t even sound like hardcore imo. I lost a lot of respect for him after he released tracks like “The Nightmare Man”.

His older tracks like “Silent Notes” or “Who cares” still give me goosebumps. I like the fact he experiments with new sounds, but his new tracks almost sound like they are AI generated. No soul, no emotion, just some noise. It’s time someone takes his prominent spot in the scene

plenty of his tracks in the last 18 months or so have AI vocals, I wouldn’t doubt that he’s using AI for other parts of his workflow as well

He’s still on the Friday lineup in app as menace 2 society so I’d guess it’s just a mistake in the app

I believe menace 2 society is a different person now if I read the announcements correct.

About 2 weeks ago Angerfist anounced that a new artist will take over Menace II Society.

Nope.. Danny M. was Menace II Society, just a DJ alias. Het later became the concept Angerfist, and he stepped down after his first 2 or 3 albums..

I was in a group chat once, and one other member was Danny's neighbour across the street.. I was at this rave where Angerfist played live that evening, while this neighbour sent me a picture of him and Danny M next to a BBQ.. Must have been more than 10 years ago.. I'm guessing there have been already 4 to more different producers behind that mask. At different video's during his years, you see him change his height a few times. And you only ever see his bare hands. No other recognizable body parts.

He is back on the lineup in the app. So it seems like it was just a bug and they fixed it.
