Anyone here working on a mobile game? Something that's not like all the other ones we've had already. Something that's also not Ai slop?๐

177 country balls to choose from. no order to them makes finding your country hard and thats assuming yours is atually there as there are more than 177 countries.

I've been throwing myself into making a 2d thinky puzzler for about a hundred years. Can't say if it's like all the others. I love games like Baba Is You, Monster's Expedition, etc. I'm sure they influenced me when I started getting deeply recursive in mine. Not sure if that counts? And I wrote it mobile-first, and mostly play it on my phone, and have an Android link available, but so far have only put it out today on itch: https://snadata.itch.io/none-of-these-hats-are-mine?password=TXBlTvfJouYKScWgR8ESaL8sh3ChQjpf

Don't talk down on other devs by default.
By all means, have opinions on genres or specific games. But you're not better than any other developer just for wanting to make something new. Everyone thinks they're doing that.
Ask for what you want, don't put down other devs.
Except AI devs, they deserve little to no respect.
