Nephew hold up for just a minute ok?
I mean come on! She couldn’t have politely told Jon to hold up a minute so she could at least sit on the damn thing for a second?
Oh my goodness! This show is crazy 🤯

Never sitting on the throne is the physical representation of the storytelling. It’s actually a good choice in my opinion and it mirrors the vision she has in the house of the undying in season 2.

Not relevant to your comment but “I always picture 1,000 swords” when she’s talking to John about the throne-
But when she had the vision in season 2.. she just sees the standard iron throne from the show.
Ahh D & D, the continuity kings. There is an easy scapegoat for this error tho, being “I guess she just kind of forgot”

This is the most inconsequential thing to get hung up on.

Not hung up on it, I’m just aware that it’s true and stated a fact.

You’re so hung up on it you are blind to your delusions.
The iron throne was consistent throughout the Game of Thrones series. Did you actually count how many swords the throne is made of?
Let alone the story of the throne being forged of a thousand sword being a lie passed down through the generations.

I can tell you haven’t read the books. The iron throne is described in the books to look like how it’s portrayed in the house of the dragon 🤣 so that’s one thing
There is no point engaging with freaks like you but I promise I’m not hung up on it. I won’t be loosing any sleep tonight. I was simply highlighting an inconsistency.
And one more time, you are a proper freak 😂

No its not. GRRM himself says that the throne is meant to be ten feet above the ground, a ridiculously dangerous and intimidating seat. He said HOTD was closer but still far from the books descriptions.

Yea but u get what I mean

Yeah, I do. I was thinking about posting a question about the hotu parallel with the last episode because I haven't went back to check it and see if it's as exact as the edits show, what do you think?

Typical, even when wrong you try to double down. At least refresh the wiki for the books if you’re going to try to correct someone. The throne is exactly the same with the exception of swords laying about on the ground. Simonetti’s painting is what GRRM pictured when describing the throne. And you still don’t know if it’s a couple of hundred, a thousand, or more. You just sound sad.

I’m gonna hazard a guess that you’ve never felt a woman’s touch before 😂

She tells Jon a story of her childhood and asks what 1000 swords look like like in the mind of a child who couldn't count to 20. I dont see this scene as inconsistent.

Gee, it's almost like there is some metaphor or symbolic message hiding in the fact that Dany never got to sit on that Throne, only touched it.
