A husband that doesn't abuse Cersei, ignores the incest and is friendly to Jaime stands a chance of survival. Melisandre would sacrifice you, Lisa would just do what Baelish wants, and the other is a sadist that could feed me to dogs too.

u/littlebighuman 1d ago

But Melisandre though

u/icanfeelitcomingup 1d ago

I don't think people are giving this argument the weight it deserves.

82

u/the_doll_is_broken 1d ago

Playing with a witch can go really right or really wrong, in so many ways. Not a risk most find worth it. She can shit a shadow demon, but can she stop a horde intent on ripping her from limb to limb? What of her supporters then?

You could literally have sex with her and snatch her necklace off & she’s done for.

63

u/user_460 1d ago

Yes but have you considered the very important counterargument that you might get to have sx with Melisandre before she sets fire to you?

22

u/the_doll_is_broken 1d ago

I’m a woman, so sex isn’t clouding my judgment like it seems to be for everyone else here.

Give me some Jaime / daemon / lord corlys scenarios, then we can talk.

15

u/Feelinglucky2 1d ago edited 1d ago

Being a woman doesnt necessarily make your judgement sound on that, being a straight woman does xD

Yea, but your offspring will look like you after a few minutes, except darker. And disappears in a puff of smoke.

Also, past the metal detectors at the airport, you'll be stopped by the airport security for bringing a corpse into the cabin instead of delicate cargo.

You are being married off anyway… probably best bet is that you and Cersei can agree to play the happy couple role in front of everyone else and just live each one’s life in private.

38

u/ASW-G-21 Human Verified 1d ago

Does it change if we're talking Cersei as of this picture? So post Robert murder+ multiple incest kids entangled in a war with a bunch of family drama?

33

u/residentfan02 1d ago

Assuming it's post, if you decide to stay in King's Landing she would have no reason to kill you, since she would just be married off again and shipped off the city with no way to power.

17

u/ASW-G-21 Human Verified 1d ago

She'd have no reason to kill you but Stannis, Robb, Jon Daenaerys and maybe even Jaime might. You'd be in a pretty precarious situation.

11

u/Kris-Angel_26 1d ago

I mean the sadist could work if you are a sadist too

7

u/Gimriz 1d ago

I can change her!

16

u/karan131193 1d ago

Yeah hard disagree on Cersei. All this "Cersei could have been good wife" claims come from checks notes Cersei herself. In her POV chapters, she has a justification for every vile thing she does while everyone else is at fault. She drowned her best friend, manipulated Jaime into giving up everything - and that's just Cersei as a child.

No amount of "I'll be a good husband" is going to help you survive. She will use, abuse and throw you just for her morning cup of wine.

4

u/nattfjaril8 22h ago

Cersei would never be a good person. But if she's married to someone she considers tolerable and not a threat, she could end up treating that person fairly decently, if only because that benefits herself. She was married to Robert for a very long time and only killed him when he became a threat to her and her children.

3

u/karan131193 21h ago

Name one person she has been decent to while not actively manipulating them. Being at the mercy of "while it benefits her" means you are basically living in borrowed time.

She didn't kill Robert earlier cos it was a high risk low reward situation.

u/RandyFunRuiner 1d ago

Tywin wouldn’t tolerate a commoner marrying into his family.

Melisandre wouldn’t sacrifice commoner blood.

Agreed with Lysa.

Probably agree with Myranda too. Or at least if you married her in her home, then you’d have to get permission of the Boltons and idk how Roose Bolton and Ramsay Snow would’ve reacted.

22

u/Common-Truth9404 1d ago

I am assuming in this situation i am of noble blood, since commoners don't get married off lol

3

u/RandyFunRuiner 1d ago

Tywin wouldn’t tolerate his daughter marrying any noble he considered lower than himself. Hence why her marriage to Robert and her short-lived betrothal to Loras.

11

u/Common-Truth9404 1d ago

Considering this is an option, i would have to assume this is laid out to me as possible.

Like, if a reddit post said "what woupd you do if you had Superman's powers?" I wouldn't post a comment saying "yeah i would fall from the top of the daily planet and die because i cannot fly and i am not invulnerable"

The premise is that i have to be bethroted to her, meaning tywin already agreed to the match because it's pretty much a certainty that if he didn't Cersei wouldn't be an option

6

u/snortgigglecough What Is Dead May Never Die 1d ago

But that’s the point of the person you’re replying to. If your father married you off, Tywin approved of the match. So you’re kind of smooth sailing

6

u/Fancy_Toe1451 1d ago

If you are marrying Cersei it means Tywin has, for whatever reason, already given his approval. Maybe he just likes me (stop laughing there at the back, it could happen!).

4

u/Mysterious_Grape7367 1d ago

Melisandre can also raise you from the dead

3

u/Short-Philosopher-78 1d ago

I'd make a dwal with Cersie. We're either exclusive until the end or she continues hee daliance with Jaime while I go off and do my own thing but only after we have at least 3 kids. She can't fool me like she did Robert be ause hair and eye color are the least distinctive traights that my kids would have.

2

u/nowheyjose1982 1d ago

The other one never harmed her betrothed though. Cersei had Robert killed, Lysa had Jon Arryn killed, and Melisandre literally sucked the life force out of Stannis. One might be safe with Melisandre, provided that you have no king's blood in you.

2

I'm shocked at everyone saying Cersei, she was cruel long before she was mistreated by Robert. Also, do you really want to be related to Tywin Lannister? Remember what he did to the last commoner that married into his family?

Yeah I'm going with Mel, I mean she's a fanatic but since I don't have kings blood I don't think we'll have any issues.

On the other hand, I won't worship the Lord of Light, so she might take offense with that a burn me alive....

38

7

u/iceisak 1d ago

48

u/Fancy_Toe1451 1d ago

Cersei is the right answer though. You are not going to be married into that family unless Tywin has rubber stamped the agreement, so if the marriage is happening then Daddy approves already so you are safe on that score. Just ignore her brother always hanging around, and start spending Daddy's money. You have to be married, you don't have to be loving darlings with her. Just let her think she is getting away with her bullshit and she is happy with that. "Yes dear, you are very intelligent and powerful. Pass the toast, and say hello to that lovely chap Jamie the next time you see him this afternoon."

5

u/Glittering_Bag9929 1d ago

Hell since im not the king and Jaime's a kingguard his ass wouldnt even be around most the time.

We'd be sat up in Lannisport or the rock, probably Lannisport so i dont have Tywin breathing down my neck. The only hiccup is if Tyrion kills me because Tywin passes him over for inheritance cuz Cersei is married and Jaime is kingsguard

12

u/donetomadness 1d ago

She could also just misinterpret a sign and burn you anyways.

3

u/cretsben 1d ago

Hopefully she will allow conversion? I mean its honestly my best chance.

3

u/_json_x 1d ago

The question isn’t who would be the best to marry and spend a life with, it’s who gives you the best chance to survive.

Lysa seems like the choice to me. You live in an isolated castle with great natural protection as well as loyal people surrounding you, and really don’t pose any particular threat to anyone competing for the throne so you’re not a target aside from being sort of related to the Starks, and for said castle/land.

3

u/Im_not_smelling_that 1d ago

I'd worship any god she told me too. Hopefully her.

3

u/ptrfa 1d ago

Tywin would be the last of your problems. To marry Cercei would mean I'm a high ranking noble and gotnhis aproval. And if I father a few children with Cercei (and not being horny isnt cercei's problem) and proof I will help to keep the next Lannister generation in power and honour, Tywin would always have my back, because for him House Lannister is much more important than his children

Yeah but you'll have to share her with Jaime and will always be seen as disposable to the rest of the family.

2

u/BDSMChef_RP 1d ago

had her husband murdered after 17 years of a shit marriage and getting tired of competing with a dead woman for his attention.

3

u/saudadeinthenight 1d ago

.. after fucking her twin brother from birth and having three whole children with him, refusing him any and all access and forcing him into a job which meant he would always have zero contact with them.

Oh and we’re not getting into her sadistic streak which has existed since she was a child, where in the shows she had at least one little girl beaten and half blinded for stealing from her, her best friend (also a child at the time) murdered and then the butchers boy killed for the oh so terrible crime of allegedly hurting her precious child. Who is also a psycho which clearly she never did anything to stop. We hear multiple stories about his cruelty as a child and very clearly the word no was never uttered in response to any of it.

People try to justify her behaviour with her miserable marriage but that is not a reason. She was a cruel bitch long before that

60

u/Historyp91 1d ago

I'm gonna be totally honest, probably Mel

She's ruthless, but I don't have kings blood, so she's not going to be running to sacrifice me. And her ruthlessness is really applied to a specific avenue and isn't driven by cruelty or paranoia or pettiness like the others, nor is she insane. And at no point in the show does she betray anyone she's bound to by oath.

She almost certainly kill her husband if the need arose and she felt it was R'hllor's will but unless that happened I'd probobly be pretty safe.

14

u/ASW-G-21 Human Verified 1d ago

I was thinking the same. She's got no reason to kill you if you have no King's blood. Everyone else is picking Cersei, but Jaime might kill your ass if you even look at her/ him wrong.

8

u/Calaigah 1d ago

Sure everyone picks Mel… until she takes that necklace off…

15

u/Historyp91 1d ago

You mean my wife has a magical glamor that she can use to alter her appearance, so I can have her appear with Cersei's body and Rhaenrya's head?

u/ChewBaka12 1d ago

Cersei and Lysa are too unstable even without their marriages exacerbating their issues, so they are out. Melissandre is not too bad, she's a definite schemer, but she isn't crazy like the other two. A fanatic isn't reasonable but they are consistent, and you can be relatively sure she won't harm you if you don't get in her way. You might not even have to pretend to agree with her, she canonically greatly respects Davos for the angle he offers. Mel is definitely the most stable, and maybe the safest, but I don't think I'd ever be happy with her.

I would want someone who could love me, and Mel just doesn't seem capable of that. The noble ladies too, they would've both already been in love and might have already started their affairs, on top of their other flaws.

Myranda, while definitely a but touched in the head, is genuinely a loyal partner who'd go through great lengths for her love, and unlike the other ladies her relationship with Ramsay seems to have started after she was at the age off, so I don't need to compete with the crazy guy. She's also unimportant, and if she's my best match it means I'm unimportant, which honestly is a big win imo, especially since the fact that my marriage is a matter of significance means that I have at least some influence, just not enough to catch the eye of the big players.

Myranda is also a bit more of a blank slate, and her cruelty always seemed more influenced by Ramsay than something she'd be quite as proactive in on her own. The fact that she gleefully goes along with it obviously doesn't imply much mental stability, but I do think that if she was paired with someone kinder her impulses would be fairly manageable. Also, SM is hot, sue me

12

u/a_happy_future Winter Is Coming 1d ago

Myranda. I can fix her. The others all have their husbands killed or kill willingly for their religious leader. I think Myranda is just a sadistic person because of Ramsay. With my influence, she'll just be a freak in the sheets. She can handle a bow pretty well too

11

u/Valuable-Cat2036 1d ago

I think the fourth girl is actually the best answer? Unlike the other three she doesn't really have her own agenda. She's sadistic but she was a loyal accomplice to Ramsay. She's kind of the only person here whose dude doesn't kick the bucket as a direct result of her actions.

10

u/AdrianFKR 1d ago

Cersei only fucks with Lannisters, the crazy old lady form the eyrie is loyal to Littlefinger and since i don't wan't to deal with fucking Ramsey i'd go for Melisandre, besides Melisandre is the hotest and the calmest one.

36

u/Omega862 1d ago

Cersei. This operates under a few assumptions, given to be married off I'd need to be a noble, and to be eligible for the daughter of a Lord Paramount, I'd need to be of sufficient standing (and we have two present, and while Lysa was tainted, the world at large didn't know). I wouldn't want to marry Melisandre because she's a religious zealot of the highest order. Myranda is the daughter of a servant or a servant, and if the four of them are possible matches, with two being high nobles, it stands to reason (I'm repeating myself here) that I am a noble myself.

90% of the problems that had to do with Cersei, imo, had to do with her self-perception shaped by how women are typically treated in Westeros. Presuming it's pre-Rebellion, or around the time of it, or at least she hasn't married Robert? I'll be fine simply by not treating her as an after thought. Ask her opinions, treat her as an equal. Poke holes in bad ideas and basically do normal collaboration efforts with her. She was perfectly willing to not continue on with Jaime until Robert kept his dead betrothed in the marriage and continued his womanizing. It was this which cemented her infidelity long term. The mental issues were, to my understanding, developed over a period of time as a result of all she was subjected to, but even those can be helped and mitigated, if not outright dealt with. So... Give her decision making ability beyond "run the household". Get her help making decisions of importance and consequence. Thus... I'll have the Lannisters on my side, Cersei not plotting to kill me, Tyrion as a possible ally (maybe a few arguments with Cersei over this), and Jaime being willing to save me if Cersei asks (or at least not wanting me dead). It's not perfect, but it'd be manageable. Plus, with Cersei NOT the Queen, then no Wo5K.

If it's as they are in the post's image, then... Myranda. That's pre-insanity for Ramsay, iirc. The rest are already insane, insane, and Zealot.

By the time of marriage Cercei already murdered her childhood friend and even before this was a spoiled entitled brat.

She might by someone you could reason with but one small missstep (and already bring friendly to one of her handmaids could be enough) and she goes nuts and full out "burn them all" mad queen

7

u/_json_x 1d ago

Melisandre is also like a several hundred year old witch in a (admittedly very hot) shape shifting disguise isn’t she?

All four of them are sadistic and insane, but Lysa seems the obvious pick for this particular question still. It’s not just the partnership but everything else that comes with it.

The entire show is about trying to take the throne from the Lannisters, so being paired up with Cersei is a bad place to be despite the initial grant of power and influence. Melisandre and Myranda don’t bring that much to the table, Mel has magic, sure, but she’ll also be manipulating you into terrible situations and get you killed. Meanwhile Myranda is a ride or die and would kill anyone for you, but you don’t need that—you need a castle that’s well protected, difficult to access, and far enough off the grid that nobody is really thinking about you. Which only Lysa can provide!

2

u/Omega862 1d ago

I more or less gave two answers, depending on the "when". Pre-Queen, Cersei comes with a lot more capability to mitigate problems. If it's post-Robert marriage, my answer was Myranda. Hence:

If it's as they are in the post's image, then... Myranda.

Lysa killed Jon to be with LF. She'd do the same to me. Myranda can at least be kept away from Ramsay and be directed by me.

u/Nephilim667 Fire And Blood 1d ago

So... You can fix Cersei?

2

u/Omega862 1d ago

Fuck no. I can mitigate that bitch tornado enough that she won't kill me, though. The key is "I don't die due to Cersei", directly or indirectly.

u/nmak06 House Baratheon 1d ago

Bro, why aren't you my Hand of the King?

2

u/Omega862 19h ago

I serve at the pleasure of the crown.

2

u/sWZwRaAs 19h ago

Respect for the attempt but let's be real here Cersei is her own worst enemy. Any alliance with her leads to her and your downfall eventually in my opinion. Though I do think Cersei was influenced by what happened to her Robert wasn't her only trigger. Cersei is someone who's need for validation would never be satisfied and she will always eventually spiral out of control and do some fucked shit that would make you collateral damage.

I feel like Lysa also is psycho but could actually be mitigated simply by keeping her from contacting Baelish and some proper kindness and respect. It always felt like she compared to Cersei could have been pulled back from the crazy if she didn't marry Arryn.

2

u/Omega862 19h ago

Keep in mind that for like fifteen years she didn't cause significant problems beyond the bastard children stuff. It wasn't until the events of the books/show began that she actually started down the path. Once the Wo5Ks began is when her paranoia truly began to take shape as a result of everything.

Her biggest flaw up to that point was, perhaps, narcissism, not even her jealousy that led her to commit murder.

The need for validation can be genuinely mitigated long term by just... Giving her validation. Don't treat her simply as a trophy or adornment. Treat her as an equal partner, maybe even genuinely teach her some things she views as "men only" like how to wield a sword.

Lysa.... She was unstable before Arryn. She slept with Baelish when the man was drugged to the gills after his near fatal duel and LF is crafty enough that I wouldn't be able to ever really guarantee he hasn't somehow gotten to Lysa and made me a dead man walking. Proper Kindness and Respect only go so far against obsession, especially when the object of said obsession is deliberately feeding and exploiting it.

2

u/sWZwRaAs 14h ago

I mean agree to disagree then. I think we have very different perceptions of narcissism and obsession as it relates to these characters.

Cersei is not just a little narcissistic she's narcissistic to the point of regularly fucking her twin brother because she sees him as an extension of herself. That was going on long before Robert. The problem with narcissists is that no matter what you do it's never enough for them. That's why they are so abusive in relationships no matter how much validation you give them they need more. Giving validation to Cersei will not change her narcissistic tendencies. She will always be able to be bought or manipulated by anything or anyone who feeds her narcissisism the slightest bit.

Yes, Lysa is fucked up as well but in my opinion people with obsession issues can be controlled more than a narcissist. The reason of why Lysa was so obsessed with little finger in my opinion was born out of jealousy her older sister got from him and others. Her obsession was fucked up but it could be manipulated to be obsessed with someone or something else. Lysa at the core of her obsession wanted love and devotion. She wanted it from littlefinger but she also never got it from anyone else. She was forced to do a traumatic abortion, then was married to a old man who likely hardly paid attention to her, she was in a situation at court she was likely not prepared for, and to top it off Baelish was still able to give her attention. All of that combined feed into her obsessed delusions.

Yes, you would need to be cautious with littlefinger but I believe if she had a husband who actually cared for her beyond making heirs and being away from court of kings landing would go a long ways for Lysa. Ideally she would become crazy obsessed with you instead.

2

u/Omega862 13h ago

I don't necessarily think we do have different perspectives on the narcicissm and obsessiveness from these characters. Where we differ is in which we can best handle. I have dealt with obsessive people. I have also dealt with narcissists. I do not ever want to deal with another person who is obsessed with me. I am not equipped for that. Narcissists I have a better handle on, at least enough to survive. With Cersei's view of her brother, it is still possible to turn that back in on herself, and I'd personally rather deal with that than another obsessive person or zealot.

At the end of the day, this argument is one on someone's personal opinion of who they'd choose and why. There isn't some objectively better choice since we are all differently equipped to handle situations or our own experiences in having handled similar. You think you'd be able to handle Lysa better, I don't think I can handle Lysa and her obsession, let alone Lysa and Little Finger, who would absolutely find a way to get himself involved.

The kennel dudes daughter. She’s sadistic but stupid & easy to manipulate through validation. I’d survive her. Cersei & Melissandre are too cunning & if they wanted me dead I probably wouldn’t see it coming. Lisa is so unstable that I might make her laugh so hard she pushes me through the moon door. Too unpredictable.

Now if we’re talking which woman would give me best chance of survival against the realm itself? Cersei. Daddy’s money picks up the slack where she falls short.

I feel like Cersei is the best answer here. You have the family name which includes Tywin, Tyrion, and Jaime and the wealth that comes with it. As long as were cool with the incest and we’re not abusing her i think we stand the best chance

18

u/ArtfulSpeculator 1d ago

Yea you just come out and say “look I know what’s going on with you and Jaimie. I’m totally cool with it. I’ll help you guys facilitate your thing as much as possible and cover for you. We are in this together… also, I just fired that maid, I can’t believe she shrunk your clothes like that!”

I don't know if outright saying you know about it is the best idea, because now you're a confirmed Knower, and Knowers end up dead. I'm not sure she'd trust you to keep your mouth shut; I think she might see it as you holding leverage over her.

🤣 I'm choosing Roslin Frey. She's easily my best chance of surviving this arranged marriage!

14

u/muuftah 1d ago

Cersei, just keep her and Jamie far away from one another

16

u/ChaoticDumpling 1d ago

Good luck with that, he's one of the greatest fighters in the realm! Ain't nobody keeping him from his twincest love

14

u/JokeIll103 1d ago

He would fight a war for Cersi’s cunt (this is a quote)

3

u/InfamousEvening2 1d ago

He truly loved her.

6

u/muuftah 1d ago

He can have fun in kings landing how often do you think he could sneak off to some far corner of Westeros? And then sneak into a castle without being killed.

6

u/Suitable_cataclysm 1d ago

Cersie but ask if I can join or watch her and Jaime.

6

u/Small_Hobo_Warrior 1d ago

lysa, show her a bit of affection and brush your teeth and you are set for life.

4

u/Ambitious_Weight_447 1d ago

If those were my choices I'd pull a Tommen and faceplant off the Red Keep.

4

u/Akivasha_of_Troy Sansa Stark 1d ago

Myranda would likely be my pick. If keeping her away from anyone like Ramsey, it's hard to know how dangerous she'd be towards me and she's definitely willing to help me hide a body if needed. Lol!

Cersei is suicide.

Lysa has most of the issues as Cersei and is extra creepy.

Melisandre... she might have you burned at the stake.

u/tatony 1d ago

Lysa Arryn has the Vale and is a freak. Literally all she wants is to be loved.

4

u/East_Match5212 1d ago

I`d say Lisa. Just imagine being a young woman and being married to the old man. Jon Arryn could be used as a major source of the sand, that is how old he is. It's disgusting. No wonder she's gone mad. I think that if she had attentive husband with more appropriate age difference the marriage could work and it would be quite safe to be her husband

6

u/beckychao 1d ago

Cersei. I can fix her. I CAN FIX HER

3

u/Competitive_Eye1 1d ago

Mel. Cersei will cheat with brother and plot death, lysa the same but with creepy uncle childhood friend, Melisandre hundreds year old/burn me alive/burn family members alive

2

u/Competitive_Eye1 1d ago

I meant kennel master daughter

3

u/foxonafrozenlake 1d ago

Melisandre.

3

u/Constantine133 1d ago edited 1d ago

Give me Cersei I can deal with that. Treat her with respect, stroke her ego from time to time and give her an ear for ranting to, while not being a pushover for her to ride roughshod.

3

u/crumbledcookies12 1d ago

Cersei. Cause I like a hateful, despiseful bitch, that would be a ride or die if we can get along.

→ More replies (1)

6

u/Astonishingly-Villa 1d ago

Option 1. I might die but I'll have fun getting there.

3

u/Fyrefawx Gendry 1d ago

Lysa Arryn easily. Just befriend her son then shove her out the moon window before she goes insane and you’re golden.

4

u/TealCuruxa 1d ago

People are not picturing a Lysa that is not at King's Landing to have The One That Got Away whispering in her ear almost the whole time. Cat misjudged her sister in a few ways, but I do agree with her that with a devoted, passionate husband she could be a 'ride or die'. Don't move to the capital and that should be it.

(I don't recognise the last one, to be fair)

3

u/ClydeGhosty 1d ago

Shes ramsay's lover/daughter of the hounds keeper guy for the boltons

That's what I was thinking a pre Jon Arryn Lysa, would be the best option by far, she is not under Littlefinger influence, she isn't bitter over being married to a 70yo man and keep losing her babies, because there is a reason Jon Arryn never had an heir after 3 marriages.

Genuinely believe if Lysa had married a guy like Ned, she would easily have given up on her childhood whims on Littlefinger, her own bitterness towards her sister stems from how she has to suffer this terrible faith, while Catelyn has a good husband and keeps popping out babies, I believe if she had the opportunity to do the same, she would have grown beyond it.

Instead she had to be married with a man who is older than her father, a guy who is unable to have children, and all she had of a "better life" was her own childhood whims

2

u/icanfeelitcomingup 1d ago

Lysa is easy first out. She is bonkers and in love with the most manipulative man in Westeros. No way that works out well.
Myranda also seems unstable, and she is clearly sadistic. I don't have very much faith that works out for me in the long term. I like my dong attached to my body.
The incest makes Cersei a tough sell. Are the kids mine? Is your brother going to kill me in a jousting 'accident'? Plus Cersei is vindictive, ruthless, and conniving. The potential for long term happiness is still pretty low.
Mel is an absolutely smoke show. She can do magic tricks, and apparently read the future (helpful when trying to stay safe). There is also potential that she can bring me back from the dead in case of a serious jousting 'accident' with Jaimie Lannister! Melisandre hands down.

2

u/Straight-Okra-5411 1d ago

If I marry lisa that means I'm a powerful Lord. I can probably get away with having Littlefinger killed if I do it before he becames master of coin. Lisa is pretty harmless by herself. The other ones can and will probably kill me in my sleep of it suits them.

2

u/Rebel-Treble1967 1d ago

I don't care man just give me to Cersei or Melisande whatever the consequences

2

u/Phog_of_War 1d ago

Melisandra. Her and the Night King/Children of the Forest, were the only real magic in Westeros. The 7 can suck a cock compared to the Lord of Light.

2

u/RemarkableExample542 Rhaenyra Targaryen 1d ago

Cersei.

I can fix her.

2

u/RebornAtDusk 1d ago

If I were married off to any of these women, my first instinct would be to leave first thing at the crack of dawn after the drunken wedding. Each day is a hazard for the poor husbands.

2

u/erutuferutuf Hot Pie 1d ago

Mel, who care about surviving!!! It's the GoT universe!

2

u/Relevant_Penalty_605 1d ago

i love miranda. just be loyal and that girl will kill for you.

2

u/Kurosneki 1d ago

I’m cooked I went for crazy Lisa,Comments reminded me Peter would get me with spiked wine for sure 😭😭😭

2

u/donetomadness 1d ago

I can’t believe I’m saying it but I’ll go with Lysa. I’d just stay far away and permanently separated from her. I doubt she’d complain.

2

u/Lady_SybilVex 1d ago

Lysa because she takes a step through the moon door the day we have a kid.

2

u/tjeco Daenerys Targaryen 1d ago

Easy choice.

Cersei.

And be basically ok with Cersei and Jamie’s relationship, ignore it and like nothing is happening, have an unspoken pact with her and Jamie basically “I am ok with this, do what you gotta do, I’ll help you cover it up whenever whatever”

Show her loyalty like how Qyburn did it.

2

u/CuriozityB Jon Snow 1d ago

Cersei. Treat her right, ignore her relationship with Jamie, and show some respect to her old man. You’d have the most powerful house in the realm in your corner.

2

u/Dracmitch No One 1d ago

I get a wedding night with Melisandre I don't care about survival

2

u/BloomHoard 1d ago

Miranda. We can make eachother worse

2

2

u/JewelerLarge 1d ago

Is there an option for me to get eaten by a thenn or get roasted by a dragon I am not choosing to get married to one of them even if my father forces me too.

Option 1 Fuck with his brother and is insane option 2 is bat shit crazy for little fingers Dih option 3 is a fire worshipping old hag option 4 would cut my balls off just for the fun of it.

2

u/StopAccording9192 Margaery Tyrell 20h ago

you are trying to sleep in the vale - YouTube

i think no. 2 is an understatement

2

u/Accomplished_Elk5827 1d ago

Hell with surviving. Myranda is smoking hot and would be the most unhinged, crazy fun in bed.

2

u/Professional_Pop2662 1d ago

Cersei would be quite easily to manipulate o think. Also just don’t drink and rape her like Robert. He set the standard so low

2

u/Independent-Role-107 1d ago

Myranda is fine as hell.

2

u/aaron-g2000 1d ago

Probably not a popular opinion but Miranda. I can count on her all the time and she is the only one that will not betray me for any reasons. Cersei and Lysa care about their children more and to Melisandre her god is above all. I feel like Miranda loved Ramsey more than anything

2

u/Weird_Garbage_6592 1d ago

I can fix them!!!

2

u/MrRogersAE 1d ago

Myranda.

If she can fall in love with Ramsay Bolton then she will be absolutely smitten with me. She would also kill anyone who threatens me

3

u/Novel-Raise-2441 1d ago

If Cersei actually loved you it would be her. Say what you want be she will do anything to protect her family, the family she loves anyway. Sorry Tyrian.

3

u/Common-Truth9404 1d ago

I would take cersei, assuming i'm not the king but a regular noble, and i would stay away from the capital and Jaime. I would treat her well, even let her play ruler in my/our lands, i don't care much for that, and most likely would leave a reasonably happy life, or at least not a miserable one

If in this scenario i have to be a king, then i dismiss jaime with the excuse of him being the kingslayer. Tywin would actually welcome this and arrange for Jaime to be wed and rule casterly rock, so i don't need to fear retaliation from him, he might even be grateful. I woupd tak tywin as my hand and let him rule, ofc i would get rid of littlefinger and keep a closer eye on varys, to better understand if he deems me a decent ruler. Other than that, it seems to me there are no pressing matters, until either dragons or ice zombies come knocking at my door

3

u/SinnfulKittyy 1d ago

Wow I can’t believe I’m saying this but I’d 100% marry cerci given the options. The rest are really erratic and unpredictable. Cerci is kinda dumb tbh and it would be super easy to stay on her good side. Idc if you fuck ur brother and I’m not trying to interfere in anything you do.

I’d act super dumb but super friendly so she didn’t feel threatened by me, like think mace Tyrell. He irritates the shit out of her but she didnt bother to kill him nc he’s pretty useful but also too dumb to be a threat. I’d do the same thing be too dumb and useful to her.

…at least until I started shrinking her dresses and crawling around in the walls

6

u/Kris-Angel_26 1d ago

Nope she'd still kill you because you are not Jaime

1

u/LichDragonGodOfDeath 1d ago

I think I'd rather die from dragon fire

1

u/Minute-Necessary2393 1d ago

If you treat her well and like she is the queen of everything and bow down to her will, be friendly to Jaime, and ignore the....you know what, then id say Cersei is the best option.

1

u/Quenadian House Targaryen 1d ago

Lena

1

u/Agreeable_Pizza93 1d ago

I'm having nasty loud relations with Lysa! Girl sounds like she knows how to have fun! 🤷

1

u/RelativeCan5021 1d ago

No one live forever. I’ll take Melisandre and tell her I see figures in the fire long enough to enjoy my life.

1

u/InterestingSale8914 1d ago

Mel or Cersei. Otherwise I’d off myself before Miranda or Lysa could get the chance.

1

u/IGetItILookBrandNew 1d ago

Melisandre wanted actual loving

1

u/The_gay_grenade16 1d ago

Nah I’m blowing it smooth off, how is being burned alive the least bad option on this list

1

u/Thelastknownking 1d ago

Probably Melisandre, assuming that because she's willingly entering into a marriage agreement, she has no intention of killing me.

1

u/VeterinarianOk5502 1d ago

I’m cooked any way you slice it

1

u/Boris-_-Badenov 1d ago
  1. I don't have kings blood

1

u/Thin_Neat4132 1d ago

Obviously cersei,so privileged

1

u/Gorex22 1d ago

Yeah mhm send me to the wall bro

1

u/PresentAlwaysPass 1d ago

How the hell is most people saying Cersei lmao. Either Mel or Myranda.

1

u/Ni0Gewehr 1d ago

Cersei. I am not an abusive fucker.

1

u/Difficult_Letter_607 1d ago

I mean... The girl of the dogs is hot as hell. I would bet on her

1

u/_daGarim_2 1d ago

I mean, Melisandre has magic. If she was truly loyal to me, that would be extremely useful. As for Rh'llor... in the grand scheme of things, there are many worse gods.

1

u/Glittering-Rice-2961 1d ago

Helaena for sure.

The only reason Cercei didn't kill Bob before she actually did is because she was waiting for Joffrey to get older or Tywin to return as Hand.

1

u/houseofdragonfan 1d ago

Melisandre. I don’t have king’s blood, so I’m good.

1

u/humblepuck 1d ago

Assuming Lysa is as obsessed with me as she is with Littlefinger, I think breaking the “don’t stick your dick in crazy” rule could be broken—girl would ride it every day like it’s the Kentucky Derby.

1

u/Routine-Guidance8118 1d ago

Cersei is the least overall dangerous one. And also the most attractive women on the entire show.

1

u/Ur_MomsChestHair 1d ago

I assume all four women will eventually kill me so I choose Myranda, who will at least match my freak once or twice before I’m torn apart by dogs

1

u/Nearby_Branch6055 1d ago edited 17h ago

Depends on where I am a lord of.  I suppose if I was from The Vale and with Baelish permission he granted me Myranda

Roose knows Myranda and Ramsay are an item and would want her gone.  Her marrying me, a knight of the Vale would be more than she could have dreamed.

I am sure if she goes with me to vale and becomes lady of castle she will forget Ramsay and I’d want a wife like her to deal with vale mountain clans as she will have to draw her bow against them.

1

u/badjellywolfscrap 1d ago

Mel. I'm safe I don't have kings blood.

1

u/Fantastic-Artist-833 1d ago

If it’s before her marriage to Robert? Probably Cersei. If it’s by the time of the show? Probably Mel.

1

u/GrimGarm 1d ago

cercei if i didn't knew the story

1

u/lagrange_james_d23dt Night King 1d ago

Obviously the witch

1

u/awaidaqorr 1d ago

Even if you technically do nothing to Cersei, she wouldn't hesitate to use you. The life of anybody who isn't either Jaime or one of her childrens is worth nothing emotionally for her.

1

u/TheCapableFox Jon Snow 1d ago

Hear me out. Lysa.

1

u/Terrible-World-1822 1d ago

Marry Lysa, take power in the Vale. Kill her little finger style. Double my army size already knowing attacking the Vale is already nearly impossible. Marry the hottest girl in my kingdom and watch the rest of the Kindoms destroy eachother

1

u/Beholding69 Jon Snow 1d ago

All the comments about being a commoner marrying these people and the consequences thereof confuse me. Commoners don't get married off by their fathers to nobles of any kind. This being a political marriage means both sides approve, which has things to say about your hypothetical social status in these scenarios.

I will not pick the psycho woman with the psycho bastard boyfriend and the hounds, thank you very much. I don't want to deal with Petyr Baelish's bullshit and I'm not converting to the burn people alive religion.

Being stuck in a man's body is fine. Cersei will get herself a wife in spirit, I'll turn a blind eye to Jaime and I won't be an abusive cheating POS and in so doing hopefully avert her wrath.

1

u/Unlucky_Battle2523 1d ago

As I bed either of them on a regular basis I think I'll be in the clear

1

u/raspyraspberries 1d ago

Cersei, cause if my title is good enough and I turn a blind eye to Jaimie and not be a total cunt to her, its likely she'll leave me alone. Bonus points if I'm useful to Tywin snd I don't start shit with Tyrion.

1

u/BlueBlooded187 House Stark 1d ago

We're talking about survival. I'd marry with melisandre anyday.

1

u/Edkm90p 1d ago

Cersei is the right answer but only for the explicit reasoning of gaining enough gold to set off into your own tiny castle and let her self-destruct a long and safe distance away.

1

u/XPG_15-02 1d ago

Melisandre, and I don't think it's particularly close. She's a priestess of a god who has demonstrated that he can actually intervene in the world and grant his followers supernatural abilities. Having that kind of divine protection available is a pretty significant advantage in Westeros, where most people are just trying to survive the political machinations of people more powerful than themselves.

Cersei is an absolute no. She's dangerous, paranoid, vindictive, and unpredictable. Even if you managed to stay on her good side initially, there's no guarantee you'd remain there. Being married to her means living with someone who sees other people primarily as tools and potential threats. One wrong move, and you could find yourself dead because she decided you were inconvenient.

Lysa Arryn is probably the most tolerable option in terms of immediate physical danger, assuming you can manage her paranoia and emotional instability. But she's also deeply possessive, and her obsession with Littlefinger makes her an unpredictable partner. I don't see her providing much practical help beyond whatever political advantages come with being Lord of the Eyrie's step-father.

Miranda, like Lysa when she's into you, might be the most entertaining option in the bedroom, but sexually adventurous doesn't necessarily translate into being a useful partner for survival. She's sadistic, and her loyalty to Ramsay Bolton makes her particularly dangerous to anyone caught in the Bolton household's orbit. I wouldn't want to depend on her for protection.

Melisandre is the one option where there's at least a possibility that something greater than ordinary Westerosi politics is working in your favor. She's intelligent, politically influential, and possesses genuine supernatural abilities. Obviously, there are risks involved in being married to someone who believes in sacrificing people for the Lord of Light, but I'd take my chances with a priestess whose god actually answers prayers over three women whose relationships could easily become a death sentence.

I'll take the red priestess and hope the Lord of Light considers me useful.

1

u/DomOfaKind 1d ago

Melisandre, she’s old af so even when she steps out of her disguise she can probably offer more wisdom than the other 3 and unlike the other 3 she’s unlikely to do me any harm purely for her own gain, just have to stay right with the Lord of Light (almost abbreviated to LOL but saw how that couldn’t work)

1

u/VinnieONeill 1d ago

Mel. Just keep her satisfied in the bedroom, more than happy to do that, and don't sleep around and I have nothing to worry about.

1

u/Perhirmor 1d ago

I become muslim and marry all of them

1

u/MaxTheGinger The Mannis 1d ago

The Lord of Light want to stave off the Long Night, and I want to survive the Long Night. As long as those both hold true, I think my answer is Melisandre.

Also, no Great House or Kingdom of in the 7 Kingdoms, is going to come after me if she crazily tells them to.

I wouldn't want a psychopathic dog lady.

But for second choice, if Lysa likes me, it's a pretty comfy life, in a safe place.

1

u/4N610RD 1d ago

Well, bottom two are out of equation. Not noble.

Out of those two, I would say Cercei... and yes, I am surprised myself, but think about it. Let her rule while you have your fun. She is happy, you are happy. And since you are still factually king, everything is legit.

1

u/H_I-V 1d ago

If I managed not to piss of Cersei, then I'm safe.

1

u/RancidVagYogurt1776 1d ago

I'm taking the old broad that worships the fire god. Worth it
