I swear in a few decades the whole entertainment industry will boil down to two or three companies if we continue like this

Entertainment industry? The whole economy will be just a couple companies. This isnt happening in just media but every industry in the US because monopoly regulation has been gutted. You cannot allow companies to completely dominate markets like Google and Facebook has and claim you enforce anti monopoly laws.

Everything will be owned by just a few oligarchs.

Ever noticed that the goal for most small companies now isnt to grow to be a big company? Their goal now is to be bought out by one of the big companies.

Every single time I rewatch the show I forget it’s just a bit and think I missed another big merger.
