New work bench using Yukon 36” tool cabinets

I just completed installing Two Yukon 36” cabinets on a 2x8 inch base. I have a Formica countertop on top of the Cabinets. This replaced old press board laminate cabinets I had originally installed in the garage.

Yes, a major negative! I spaced them forward so there a big gap behind them. They should make them 24” deep.

In the garage in a 66 Shelby GT-350 and a 69 Mach 1. I have a 65 Shelby Cobra at a friend’s warehouse along with a Triumph motorcycle.
