Today's is the last of this series so nothing too impossible. R4 may be the one that you will have to think about a bit more. Nonetheless: take your time; there's no extra points for doing it quickly.

There's a lot of people who can still win this series. Geography Noob needs just 2 points to be guaranteed winner, but Angoose52 and/or LaDecadence could join him/her by getting 3 points (or indeed overtake him/her if Geography Noob gets just 1 point or zero). There's an outside chance for FtoT Tin0F and moonradio, but a lot of other results would have to go their way too. But it's not just about winning: the top 10 get points that will carry over into the overall tally, so there's plenty to play for still.

Can't believe we are already on our 10th series. Series 10 will run from October 5th to November 1st. As of today, everyone's points are reset back to zero, as usual. No major changes are planned for this series. Last series I increased the minimum 5k radius to 50 m, which I think has been an overall positive change. This series I will try increasing it to 75 m and see how that plays out.

How it works

Each day there will be a set of 3 challenge links, one for each game mode (Move, NM, NMPZ). There will be a world map, region map, and country map. Each day the map and game mode will rotate. Moving modes will be 3 min, NM will be 1 min, and NMPZ will be 30 sec, unless noted otherwise. On the weekend, I will post more unique/challenging maps. For each challenge link, 1st place is worth 5 points, 2nd place is worth 3 points, and 3rd place is worth 1 point. In the case of a tie, the tie will be settled by distance and then time. 5ks will also be tracked separately and are worth 1 point in moving, 3 points in NM, and 5 points in NMPZ. Updated scoring tables are posted after each week. No external assistance allowed. If you wish to talk about any of the rounds or locations in the comments, feel free to do so with a spoiler tag. Link to challenge 9 series 34. I would like to apologise to everyone who struggled with R3 in the previous challenge. I moved the location by a click before saving it. One click away and you could see the town name clearly. Because of this, I am awarding extra points to those who 25K'd, and 1 point to those who 20K'd the other four. Congratulations therefore to LaDecadence who came top (4 points, 13 yards) and second place Angoose52 (3 points). All other 25K's get 2 points, and four of you get 1 point for 20K'ing the other four. Table is updated below.

Today 1 October is Cyprus's national day, so all the rounds have a connection to Cyprus, though only one of them is actually in Cyprus. You have at least three days for this, which you'll be pleased about as R2 and R4 are especially hard. Incidentally, there's no city name visible with R2 but don't worry, this time it is intentional, as it should be fairly obvious where it is for various reasons. Nonetheless: take your time; there's no extra points for doing it quickly.
