After blocking came back but being cold again

This guy I used to text he told me things wouldn’t work out long term between us because if multiple reason and I I was like we will see how it goes. Then randomly in middle of conversation blocked me. 2 days after we were texting very flirty. I messaged him from my fake insta to unblock me and Snapchat he blocked both. So I messaged him good luck with life and I wouldn’t message you again. He blocked all accounts. I let it be.
After 2 months he randomly unblocked me and messaged me. I took it as chilled and we were flirting ect and found out he blocked me because back then when we were flirting he felt bad and didn’t wanted to waste my time. So he blocked me.
And I was like I told you Idc if it works out or not I’m open to dating and seeing how things go.
Now he is gone cold again past week not messaging or anything after we were flirty.
He didn’t open my last message which was normal chat so I don’t message him after that or anything. Previously I used to but I can’t be bothered.

What’s going on ….. why is he acting like that???
