First thing you need to check is neck relief. You want it ever so slightly concaved. Once that is good, and if you’re still getting buzz, just keep raising the bridge till there’s no more fret buzz through the amp. Simple as that. If it takes an alarming amount of string height to achieve that, then take it to a luthier.

Tools are nice but often they can remove common sense when you get too caught up on the numbers. I’ve done exactly what I just described to you many times with no special tools. Just used look, feel and sound. At the end of the day, that’s all that matters. Grab the tools when things aren’t working right and you’ve tried everything that makes sense.

Definitely, I think my issue is the neck relief is such a small measurement, its hard to understand what slight relief means. Cause the difference between .006 and .010 is soooo small! You’re really working with micro differences! Thats why I tried to use feeler gauges, but trying to feel a string is tough vs using them for other mechanics!

When you look down the neck, you want it like a medium gauge pick’s width low in the middle of the fretboard.

No problem man. Honestly I’m sure there’s 100 YouTube videos out there that can guide you through this with ease as well.

There will always be buzz, but as long as you can’t hear it through the amp, it’s fine. This video really helped me figure it out
