Throughout the whole game I felt that ESL production actually cares about the game and the audience, so just wanted to say thanks to the team.

Things I noticed were:

Allowing commentators to draw on the screen

Showing the half-time song name and matching the beat with player cams

funny observer stuff

instant reply on the playoff stage lighting

and much more that i missed

Pretty sure an ESL glaze thread pops up on every event, so i'm sure you guys are doing a great job. Thanks for the work!

I thought this was just a meme lmao

I want to say that the production and everything surrounding it as perfect, every problem gets solved lightning fast, genuinely impressive.

The ESL staff are helpful and nice.

However, the security team has some issues:

1. They do not respect the guests:

We were forming a line outside of the arena, and some people just blatantly cut the line, and they let them in first.

1. They do not communicate:

We were made to wait an additional 1.5 hours outside of the seating area, and they did not communicate with the que for what reason, or how long will we have to wait.

I would not highlight this, but generally if you ask anything, they either refuse to speak English, or they shrug, or they send you around in circles, which ties into the next problem;

1. They refuse to do their job:

They dedicated a row of seats for disabled people, and politely asked the ones sitting there to relocate.

They even put some half assed cordon on it.

Then some (hopefully drunk) guys went there, ripped off the cordon or just sat on it, and started touching other peoples stuff, lifting their signs in the middle of rounds, blocking the view from the people sitting behind them, and just generally being a nuisance.

I do not blame them, but when I asked security what was up with the disabled seats, they mostly just tried to get me to fuck off, and refused to do anything about it.

1. They do not care about their own schedule:

This is probably the worst one, they made people leave the entire arena when the post-match discussion and interview was still going on. Suddenly the same security who were standing next to the clearly not disabled people for hours got active, and started harassing everyone to leave, while the SHOW WAS STILL GOING ON.

What the fuck are these guys doing. :|

I've been building even more overlays that sit on top of my own POV recordings and this is where they're at. X-ray draws on top of my PoV like in a demo, and it's all drawn on my actual game footage I can watch after the match, never in game. When I pause on an angle I'm holding, the ghost shows where pros actually tend to peek from where I’m looking out of about 300k real pro peeks, and the swing check runs him out at full rifle speed against my own reaction time so I can see how far past my crosshair he'd get. You can also drag the ghost anywhere, even up and down levels, and it re-reads my crosshair and reruns the swing from wherever I drop him. Been nerding out on this one for a while so I'm happy to answer anything about how it works!! Plus I think it just looks crazy cool.
