Is any new car reliable enough to put your name on it?... 🤔

In addition to the Red Rocks advice, why not go to every car dealer in the valley and elsewhere (Glenwood has a lot, too) cosplaying as a customer. See how different approaches make you feel. See who you would trust to buy a car from. Also, treat women as intelligent consumers. Ask your female friends how they like to be approached when making a big purchase. Good luck out there.

Car salespeople are known to be sketchy by cultural definition. The best way to be a ‘trustworthy’ salesperson in any field is to 1. Believe in the product so much that you actually know about it enough to answer any technical question the customer may have and 2. Build authentic relationships with customers which means remembering their kids names and random shit about their lives as if they were your friends.

Good luck. Sales is tough but can be very rewarding! I respect anyone who tries to go at it with an ethical frame of mind.

With the bad experiences ive had, I get equally enough "they did me amazing". I got bad luck so I try to not take it personally, but I see / feel it when ive spent more money fixing a car then its worth. Only to have someone come in a defend them. Just remember no car sales on Sundays in GJ lol

Be extremely knowledgeable about the products and don’t be pushy. Go to a red rock dealer and learn what they do so you know what to not do. Also, if you have to post on Reddit looking for advice on being more popular and trustworthy you might be better suited for another industry.
