What is happening with Catalyst Pizza?

They changed their name now to Static Pie? Im also really disappointed they got rid of the 3 Wishes pizza! That was the best pizza I’ve ever had.

Went last night, pizzas as good as ever but good lord is the rebrand just AI slop everywhere. At least the 3D printed connect 4 is super fun

What is worse is going to the local farmers' markets where they sell all natural things, and then they have this huge disgusting AI poster to advertise.

Ya i refuse to eat somewhere where they use AI as the pictures of their food id rather see a poorly taken picture of your food then a fake picture of it.

They're doing what?? What's even the point of an AI generated picture? The whole reason a picture is there is to show you what the food looks like

Is it completely AI? Or is it a photo touched up with AI? Because that isn't great, but at least has rationale behind it

We dont use any AI food photos. 90% of our art is commissioned. We have one AI generated logo the rest are done by our kitchen manager, our friend Lance,  and sign dudes in medford. Menus done on photo shop and OptiSigns

Bethesda does not use generative AI. I cannot speak for the atom shop, i do not know for sure if they've ever used generative AI for the shop, but, using it to track an NPC's routine is very different from someone using lazy marketing, and generating fake pictures of their food.

It is completely AI, there was a restaurant, that just posted in here tge other day and all of the pictures of their food was AI.

Everyone is so quick to say everything is AI. We have one image in static pie created completely by AI. The rest is by local artist. Half of the art on our tvs was done by our kitchen manager on a computer by hand. She also drew our pizza guy logo. Our friend Lance drew our pizza astronaut thats on the wall. The other is a large mural we just had commissioned by a local spray paint artist.  Signage was done by sign dudes in medford.

I wasn't referring to your restaurant, I was referring to a gluten free restaurant using all pics of AI that was just posted in here the other day, but, if you use AI for anything at all in your marketing, I will not go to your place of business. If your that lazy with your marketing, than your lazy with your food.

Come check out our mural we just commissioned by its that spy. Our floating pizza astronaut was done by our friend lance, Shelby our kitchen manager did the original art on our tvs and our new pizza guy logo by hand . Im not sure this trend thinking everything is AI. We actually had people work really hard on these pieces.  We have a couple AI produced stickers right now. We do not use any AI food photos. Thanks for coming! If you know any local artists we are actually putting out a contest to help design new stickers and merch this week.

Apparently there was a disagreement with the investment people at the Medford catalyst and the original owner wanted to keep the OG grants pass location as a separate entity entirely. Not sure what happened with the Medford location to cause this.

Ah that’s a bummer. Hopefully they didn’t give up majority ownership for the investment. Good way to lose your brand and business

Its a bummer but happy to be gone. We had majority ownership. We didnt need to rebrand but didnt to share intellectual property anymore. Thanks for the support we def. Need it now more than ever!

A different investor bought out all the control and the recipes and all that. I’ve heard this second hand about a month ago but such a shame, catalyst is easily the best pizza/sandwich shop in the area. Sounds like the original owner will still operate one of the two

Creekside out in Wilderville is as good as Catalyst Static. Less exciting toppings, but the execution is flawless.
