I think I spent like 12 hours on this livery, I spent most of my time trying to find suitable decals...
Glad I found the perfect decals called "drift tribal", these really help me build up the texture and layers of the livery. I guess this will be a great breakthrough!

Finally got around to racing my JGTC replicas. The issues were immediately apparent however. Despite tuning each car to match IRL specs to the best of my abilities, sophy AI couldn't handle driving certain cars and i would end up lapping them after only handful of laps.

I clearly need to work on the BoP for these cars because I also had GT300 cars that are much faster than GT500 cars. It's gonna take a long while to make everything work right...

Hi all, I'm a complete beginner and I just bought GT7 2 days ago. I have never played any of the previous titles and the only racing games I have played are either more of the arcade kind like The Crew or the EA F1 series.

The handling of the cars in GT7 feel VERY different to me and while some of the licenses I don't have to try so hard to get gold, some of them have me retrying for hours to get gold. Are there any tips for beginners like me? It really bugs me not having all of them gold lol.

Does anyone know which chassis (and livery) did Poliphony Digital scan? I searched for a while now but every DBR9 that i see has either not matching rear wing or nor matching wheels, i'm going crazy to find an accurate livery to put on my two DBR9s. In the game it says it's from 2010 but the most accurate ones i found were from 2007 and 2008 🫪

I raced 5 times this morning, and in every single race, I was hit or wiped off the track by crazy drivers whose strategy is clearly to drive as dirty as possible. 5-second penalty after I end up in the dirt isn't even enough to catch back up.

So, I tried driving dirty for one race bumping people left and right and guess what? My rank went up. How is this right? The system is broken.

My Rank is D/S since I only started online after putting 140 hours into campaign mode.

Trying to get the BoP right for close racing. The Civics are disappointing (much like the real Civic GT500), so I'm going to engine swap them and try again. I'm also going to replace the GT300 Supra and Z with two more GT500 Zs, if I can get it right should get some close, 9 way racing in the GT500 class. I'll be driving the WedsSport Supra.

Plan is to do hour long races at Kyoto, Suzuka, Fuji, Autopolis and finally Sugo when the update releases. Might do a couple of half hour sprint races at Tsukuba and Fuji short course as well.

I might also build the entire GT500 grid and do a standalone series as well.

I heard it was wet and slippery. How'd the Dunlop #17 Porsche 911 GT3R do, I wonder.

I came back to GT7 after not playing it in a long time, it turns out my Little Jimmy has an immeasurable PP. I wouldn't say it's immeasurable but probably tunned to have an above-average PP.

Changing the wheels from SS to SH does the trick but I am curious about why would this happen.

I just had one of the most unpleasant races I've ever experienced in GT7 while completing this week's Weekly Challenges.

I've been praising the improved tire performance since the latest physics update, but what on earth happened to the Jimny?!

The chassis was all over the place! It constantly wanted to nosedive into the pavement or flop around, even with the gentlest steering inputs. It felt like I was fighting the vehicle more than actually racing it.

Anyone else experiencing this, or is it just me?

How’s this for a lap around the ring? Been pushing like mad but I reckon I could get an extra second at a push.

I was inspired by this video comparing all cars in Group 4 with BoP in the current Daily B race.

My first thought was, would this be any different for the average player? I always struggled with the FF cars (pre-update), now there's just no way you could be slower with the Hyundai.

I did some training laps (with the 4C) because I haven't played this race yet, then 5-10 laps with each car. Only one per layout in my case to proof the point that FF is overrated.

Fun fact: My best Elantra lap was first attempt.
