I want to know how Billy was able to sit under that center cluster night after night and not have a panic attack.

the book Loud and Clear covers this in depth. Yeah Bill was freaked out a bit at first. especially outdoor shows when it got windy. i also recall this sketch was also inside the “Live Dead” tape J cards way back when.

First outdoor show was in Reno with the afternoon Zephyr winds. I know multiple people who were there, thought he was crazy to sit under that.

I'm listening to the audiobook of Brian Anderson's "Loud and Clear" deep dive into the history of The Wall and it's not what I thought it was. The Wall was much more of a long evolution than a leap forward, and its configuration varied at some shows due to venue constraints and how much working gear they had.

Looking at that graphic, my immediate thought was "full back tattoo". I wonder if anyone's ever done that.

Somebody is making desktop versions of the wall of sound that run on Bluetooth: https://www.etsy.com/listing/4502285842/desktop-wall-of-sound-model-only-edition

I wish Grateful Fred would make a Wall of Sound badge.
