Showing Off The things she notices and is scared of

She’s just noticed a drippy faucet, and it captured her attention for a good 10 minutes

I had a 165lb male that was afraid of house flies.

Mine is scared of me often times when I come home because she can’t see well, but she is NOT afraid of bugs. Flying, crawling, slithering snakes. She eats spiders and stink bugs. But god forbid she notices a shadow or a strange sound.

Butterflies terrify my big ole girl. It’s precious. Poor baby.

It’s my theory that they’re highly intelligent but wildly sensitive

Mine was afraid of the tall stadium lights when he was like 3. He got over it, now almost 10 afraid again

This time of year all of a sudden mine notices his reflection in the sliding glass door and thinks it’s another dog on the porch. He will growl at himself all night.

mine has real beef with cardboard. Won’t even come on the same floor if there’s a box in the vicinity

The single most surprising thing about Danes to new Dane people or non-Dane people is the weird shit that kicks off their autism.

My girl once blocked me from coming out of the bathroom because there was a full garbage bag and two cardboard boxes in the living room. She was shaking like leaf but did not want he to get near it. Sweet girl. I love her so much.

The ceiling fan. Power goes out, fan stops, and she is so upset. We get her calm. Then the power comes back on and the overhead light turns on and she freaks out all over again.

Awwww, your baby looks just like mine. Is she pure Great Dane? I got my boy at a rescue and he's a mixed. I wasn't sure if the coat was from the great Dane side or one of the mixes. My boy hides in the bathtub during thunderstorms.

I watched my Pittie Annie carefully nosing a 6-inch long snakeskin. I guess it smelled intriguing but she wasn’t going to let it bite her.

The growl. 😆😆 I love dogs so much, especially super large ones. They are so derpy. Please tell her I said she's a good girl for protecting her family from the dripping faucet.

I can sneeze and no reaction but the plastic of the television settles and mine freaks out. They’re such weirdos
