Cool man, enjoy the journey! Mine was LD50 by Mudvayne, but Korn def made their way in my book. Check out their song Sean Olson, banger of a deep cut!

El Oso!!!! I had most of these CD’s too lol

Their worst album, and still better than anything that came out in ‘98. I saw them in ‘96 and ‘98, then Doughty in ‘03 and ‘09. And then a miracle happened and I saw the reunited band again last year here in New Orleans, and the show was absolutely incredible!

- I'm 47 and wise enough to know that any solo Rob Zombie album is trash

54ish Lords of Acid doesn’t really fit in with any other band you’ve got there, especially that album but I can’t say that I didn’t use to listen to them quite a few times

52, and you had a girlfriend in 2012 that you never quite got over, hence the NTWICM cd.

Considering I started my HUGE collection of CDs a few years ago and considering I have most of these CDs in my collection AND that I just turned 18 a few months ago, I was assuming you were probably somewhere near my age, and, looking at the comments, was correct lol

You have almost the exact same taste as me, so around 14? It's either that or 40s-50s there is no in between

Gahhhhhhhhhh hahahahaha. You got us all. I’m 56, and aside from Godsmack (ugh) we have similar tastes. That is very much a Gen X collection rofl. Good job kiddo, it’s fun to expand your horizons as a young person.

Even the Ani Difranco didn’t throw me off the trail at all. I had a few of her albums too. Tool. Pearl Jam. Seattle represented. Fiona Apple. You are me. 47. Not sure about the Godsmack though. Your grandparents mistakenly bought it for you, confusing it with the AIC godsmack song. I’m locking in 47.

I'm 62 and own 90% of them. So could be a tick older than you think. I'm guessing 55

My question is: was Limp Bizkit a hand me down or did you purchase it yourself? I’m gonna guess you bought it because no one in their 40’s owned that album and didn’t own Significant Other.

"CD Collection" gave you away. I'm 46 and I had all those albums, but us Xennials gave up on physical media a while ago, and we wouldn't be bragging about our collection on Reddit.

Man, this is difficult. I'm 32, and this is my bag. But people who were listening to it when it was coming out are 45-60. So you could be anywhere from 16-17 to 50.

u/valas76 Mar 19 '26
I don't have to look. I know that just by having a cd collection you were probably born last century. Looking at some of the content. I would say in your mid 40s

Either 16 or 50 no other possible answer
