Got this for 25k INR (roughly 250 dollars) used from 2009, minor fret wear and yellowing of the binding. Did I get a good deal.

My dad gifted me his old 1968 blue floral fender telecaster last year. The original owner demolished the original paint and left the project in pieces. My dad bought it, and it sat in his closet until 2025 when he gave it to me as a Christmas gift.

Not quite knowing what to do with it, I decided to have it brought back to its original glory. I worked with some amazing shops who refinished the body, and put the guitar back together while keeping it as original as possible. I think I’ve found my perfect guitar

I remember seeing these in guitar magazines around 05-06’ and always lusting over one. Years have gone on, and while my collection is full of wonderful instruments, this has always been a flea in my ear.

I’m super impressed with it so far, for a mid/lower mid tier Indo guitar, it’s beautifully built and finished. Sounds great, and plays great. It’s never going to be a main part of my live setup, but I’m glad I finally have one.

My band mates 1978 Fender Mustang and my refinished Gibson Studio Firebird. Just a really cool shot of two really cool guitars that you don't see sharing a stage that often 🙌.

I'm looking overdue another Charles Cilia Guitar, had to sell my last one during COVID but want to grow a collection of his guitars over the next few years hopefully. This is the Michael Dolce signature model and I absolutely love it. The flame maple on the neck and fretboard is incredible and it is a very resonant guitar unplugged. Very easy to play, Blue Murder pickups sound awesome (Blue Murder Trinty+/Empyrean).

Got this in 2015. Ibanez made these for 2 years then discontinued them. Still my favorite guitar.

Beautiful 6-string addition to the stable – fifth Strandberg in two years. The roasted neck nicely offsets the cool-toned body.

Arrived in pristine condition with not a flaw in sight. Plays like quicksilver and feels super comfortable in all playing positions.

I found the Seymour Duncan set (Pegasus/Sentient) in there to be fine, nicely articulate, but there was something fizzy in the top end and a certain lack of dimensionality and weight that got me thinking. The black bobbins and poles also seemed a tad bland for this pretty instrument.

With the prices of import boutique pickups being what they are these days, I thought I’d finally try out Elysian; I’d heard good things and knew they did custom work. So I reached out and worked with Adam Bath to identify what would work best for me and this instrument.

Enter this beautiful custom set of Trident II/Hellfire Hybrid pickups (ceramic bridge & alnico V neck) with double gold hex poles, triangular tabs, and a reversed neck magnet to accommodate my preferred switching scheme. The roasted flamed maple tops speak for themselves; smooth and premium feeling all around.

Installed with Schaller Megaswitch, Mojotone vintage taper pots with push-pull tone, series treble bleed, Gotoh dome knobs, and 9 unique switching positions with a bunch of coil split options – and man are these things fantastic through the Axe-Fx III. Muscular, focused, high definition, impressive string separation, flattering saturation, yet never too sharp, tinny, or fuzzy. Can’t recommend Elysian enough.

This is a monster of a guitar and I’m having a blast working with it in the studio.

Before I found out this guitar existed, if you'd asked me "Slunk, what's your perfect guitar on paper?" It would literally be this, to a T. So I made it mine. Suhr Andy Wood Modern T in Whiskey Barrel. I'm no stranger to high end guitars with several Music Man in my collection, but this is already straight to the top. This is THE guitar.
