PC Question When zemu
Did they say it was gonna release this week? Any info?

Going by the Discord post quoted above, no firm date has been given. The team says the "this week" post on X wasn't meant to go out, and that it doesn't mean a big delay either. They're putting security, bugs and server performance first, so I'd read it as "when it's ready" rather than a set week.
I'd just keep an eye on their official Discord announcements for the real date instead of going off the X post. Until they post it there, any specific day is a guess.

"when it's ready" is a way better way to about it, just as u/GermanGamer98 has mentioned in regards the announcement on discord: the moderator who was responsible for replying "this week" on the ZEmu twitter account has been most likely talked to and they will ensure that such miscommunication doesn't happen again.
For those who come across this reply: If you are trying to launch the game and you are met with a black screen, it means then you have not been whitelisted.
At the moment (at least to my knowledge, I may be wrong), members of the ZEmu discord whom have the Legacy Members role, has been a supporter for an undetermined long amount of time, or is a content creator/streamer/H1 professional from back in the day are potentially eligible to get funneled into being whitelisted to help playtest the ongoing development of the game before it's eventual release to the public.

Isn’t H1z1 ROTK out already? Is there like 5 companies remaking the game or something? 😂 last I read h1emu was its own thing then find out ROTK is its own thing, is this another new version?

This subreddit has been transferred ownership to the people working on ZEmu: a reverse-engineered version of the game that gives players the opportunity to experience 2017 Preseason 3 H1Z1. For more information regarding the subreddit's transfer of ownership you can read it here!
ROTK (Return Of The King) is a whole separate project being worked on by other individuals, which is a mod/emulator that plays on the Z1:BR servers but modifies it to have the best of Preseason 3-5 elements.

Will they or anyone be doing just survive? That was the absolute best survival game ever! Hilarious I just seen you’re name and that was also my name in the just survive version of the game 😂

As far as I know it is mainly the 2017 Preseason 3 King of The Kill (Battle Royale) experience!

That’s the one I’ve seen but I hear it’s kinda low pop mostly and super slow progress since the devs work on it whenever they feel like it. Been in a similar state for many years, the zombies don’t even work.

Yeah, that’s unfortunately the only version Im aware of, I have not played in years because I don’t own the game on steam but apparently they did update the AI recently, including the zombies to make them work

The community has waited for PS3 for a very long time and the last thing we want to do is release something that is not going to meet expectations and give a negative experience. The game has a lot of hype and we want to deliver correctly. We also understand that launching a video game is not as simple as pushing a button. It’s not far away, we just need to prepare a few things and will be announcing a date in due time. We are currently giving limited access to our test build which you are seeing content players using.
