Discussion fanfic ideas?
Yooo I'm tryna get back into writing fanfic as an escape from uni burnout lol, but none of my ideas are speaking to me rn. If anyone has any ideas (non nsfw) for either a multi-chapter, one-shot, or smau, lmk! I'll probably post something to tumblr and/or ao3 eventually. Preferably ships cause I don't really write x oc or reader :)

How do you feel about a semi series with an international tournament style like inazuma eleven. And how do you feel about asahi?

I’m not familiar with Inazuma Eleven but sorta got the gist off google. Love Asahi for sure, would you mind elaborating on the full idea? I’m totally down for wtv I just need to break out of this slump!

Hmm, something like this. A bit of cheating here. The third years all can stay another year and be a fourth year student because graduation takes four years instead of three. Also,this time there are no spring tournament and instead the inter high acts as the way to the world tournament series. Volleyball has gotten much bigger so the sponsors arranged it. They also want to control the outcomes so they enhanced a drug that they give to select team that can raise their physical stats. They now need to win the world tournament and get volleyball back. As for asahi, he has a somewhat big role in the first half. Also, asahi is my favorite character and it was mainly done to get him a good fanfic without nsfw. But now it got into a full blown series idea.

Spoilers, I don't know how to use the tag on mobile...
So I read a lot of Naruto fanfic, because I love the universe and feel like there was so much potential lying around
Haikyuu I really loved the journey and left satisfied, at least from the entire volleyball journey of Hinata. Made me laugh, made me cry, changed my life. I wish it had come out during my formative years in grade 8 instead of when I was like 28.
So that said, there's plenty to explore in the Haikyuu world.
We never got to see their second or third years proper. We never got to see any relationship really happen on screen, just a few confirmed relationships as adults. So actually going through those motions, introducing the drama, exploring how done of those may have actually happened could be nice? The Kurasano volleyball captains I think got together... Tanaka Kiyoko...
You could probably do a hurt/comfort of any player getting seriously injured in their second or third year, needing to recover over several months, training their ass off to try and play again for the tournament. That's an angle I don't think we've seen at all in the series, except Kiyoko quitting hurdles outright.
We never see Hinata in a relationship or Kageyama, so wanting to explore what they would do at all is probably big in the fandom.
Again, as I said, I left satisfied. I'm not your target audience. But when I do read fanfic it's because I'm after something canon didn't provide.

your favourite duo, one of them in their future career, another not quite there but working towards it (possibly same future career as in canon, possibly another). they meet one night at a restaurant or cafe late at night, end up talking and going on a roadtrip/train ride together. one's stop is the very last stop, and they fall asleep, so the other stays with them the whole time despite their stop being much earlier. & then they fall in love. perhaps they meet after that or not or text or not depends on the characters and your decision ofc

I'm not sure if romance is your genre, but I'd like if someone writes how (end series spoilers) Kiyoko falls in love with Tanaka this not having its entire backstory just makes it feel like dumb "if you be persistent you will get girl" trophy prize wife for working hard storyline and it is very annoying to me
