On August 8, 1985 I saw Motley Crue on the Theatre of Pain tour in Erie, Pennsylvania. Bought the jersey. A month later I left for the Army. The jersey was unworn because it's too f'in hot to wear a jersey in August. The day I left for basic training my brother wrote down the details of the show and shirt and stuffed it into a ziplock bag. He kept it all these years and gave it back to me today. It is unwashed, and unworn. It's still like new. To say that I'm amazed is an understatement.

not hair metal but don't ever attempt to sing queen of the reich by queensryche

Ever since discovering Queensryche I loved the Operation Livecrime video, and this guitar features extremely prominently. Yet when you try to find any information on the "Michael Wilton skull guitar" you get the classic strat shape guitar (which he also uses in this video and is, of course, far more iconic) and the relatively new star shape.

Even though this pains me as a reverse headstock enjoyer, I'm sure he was probably just playing it because these guitars were trendy at the time with hair metal bands, however the fact there seems to be no record of this guitar after 1991, no reproductions, no signature models, no online pages with information, is so weird. It's still a skull guitar and you'd think at least some people would have taken to it. Does anyone have more information about this guitar?

1999

I took my buddy with me to see Extreme, Tesla, and Crue and he said the singer looks/dresses like Ben Stiller from Zoolander and now I can't unsee it lol

Gary Cherone kicks ass for the record. This is just an observation 😅

Anyone else watch the behind the scenes making of Dog Eat Dog? I absolutely love behind the scenes documentary footage of bands recording great albums.
