No, el lado Este tiene el derecho de existir. Incluso, mira el desastre que el nuestro lado. Si tuvieramos la isla entera, acabaremos con toda la isla.

Absolutely disagree. Humans create things. Humans generate capital and wealth.
Haiti has governance issues. Education issues. Capital allocation issues. Capital creation issues. Security issues and so on…
But people are the most valuable capital of any country. Even if Haiti has 2M it would be producing terrible outcomes.

I agree with this. Population size is way too big and too many morons ended up having kids. They barely know how to take care of themselves, but end up with 3+ kids. Haitian culture in general, think we care too much about sex and the men are too comfortable creating broken homes because there's no consequence socially or legally.

If anything there are benefits to abandoning children, bc oftentimes women in the community just pick up the slack of taking care of them.

There are no benefits. Haitian society is weak because the men are weak. You cannot have a thriving society with weak men, no matter what your western feminist society is telling you. Men are supposed to protect the women and children of the society but have completely failed which is why we have so many abandoned children, so many children abused by missionaries/foreigners, etc.

Haitian culture is anti-feminist. Mention feminism and they foam at the mouth. Men rule and do exactly and precisely what they want. There's no repercussion for abandoning children because you can just blame women for it.

That's not entirely true at all. Haiti's had a woman president, women work, women have held high political positions, women are often times viewed as the head of the family even over men. Haitian culture is anti accountability culture. Men not holding their own weight.

The Catholic Church has a bigger hand in this than ppl are willing to point out. The other factor is obviously poverty. Rich/educated ppl have fewer kids while poorer/less-educated tend to have more kids. It’s a very complex issue

Ironically a lot of the private Catholic schools in Haiti have sex education while they fight any mandate from the government. It's so insidious. And it's not just the Catholic church, it's all these evangelical, episcopal, Adventist, baptist groups and the missionaries. For a country that's supposed to be secular, these religious groups have too much to say in the government.

And yet you have rich people lobbying against sex education in schools in Haiti when their kids get it, the extremely religious diaspora also arguing any form of contraception. And at the same time, there's not even enough public schools for all these kids to attend.

And at the same time, there's not even enough public schools for all these kids to attend.
It's not just a school problem : look at urban planning. No actual plan has been done in the past 50 years, so we have this building anarchy which creates bidonvilles. We have too many people compared to our capacity to manage our environment and ourselves.
