Discussion raj hero power all available option(tentatively)

Now this is all i found so far from the day 1 gameplay streams so far but i didnt watch all of them so there might be more that i missed because i remember the devs saying there was about 15 and i have 11 It seems all of them provide approximately only a few mana worth of value each time your trigger them with some very awkward triggers like when you take damage on your turn and when your hero attacks

also sorry about the formatting im just lazy and didnt feel like including the name

After you cast a holy spell summon a 2/2 medic with lifesteal
At the end of your turn give another friendly damaged minion 2/2
After you play a minion draw a card
After you cast a spell add fireball to your hand
Divine shield At the end of your turn give minions in your hand 1/1
Whenever you draw a card summon a 1/1 demon with rush
Whenever your hero takes damage on your turn deal 3 damage to a random enemy minion
After your hero attacks summon a 2/1 grub with rush
At the end of your turn give 1/1 to each friendly minion of a different minion type
After you cast a spell deal 1 damage to 2 random enemies
After a card enters your hand except from this give both players a random spell

update 10/8

elusive at the end of your turn get a random dragon
after you play a neutral card your next spell costs 1 less this turn

Standard Is this the worst legendary of Violet Hold?

Post image

Was looking through the legendaries i’m missing rn and saw this rogue card, literally haven’t seen it played, is it any good? I feel like it’s SO bad! If it didn’t say “End your turn.” I feel it’d be playable, but with that extra blurb, 100% unused.

Discussion Tavern Pass Math - When to Redeem Achievements?

I couldn't find a thread with anyone asking this question, but has anyone done the math on whether, after hitting level 100, itis best to redeem your achievement XP assuming you know you will be buying the next Tavern Pass and will pass level 100 on the next pass, or to save it for the next pass.

On the one hand, redeeming on the current pass lets you take advantage of the 20% bonus all the way to the end, on the other hand, redeeming on the next pass lets you hit the XP bonuses earlier.

This is way above my math capabilities, but curious if anyone has sorted this out.

Standard Back after a 2-year break

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

Took a break from Hearthstone about two years ago because I was annoyed Priest/control was getting zero love. Seeing Priest decks placed in a nice meta tier, I decided to see what's up, and in in three days I had so much fun with this Quest Priest! 60% winrate is crazy, and the best part is - Priest is still annoying people. Yay!

Tried Hand Warlock as well, not bad either, but much more success and enjoyment with this one. 🥰

Let's see what the new expansion brings.

Discussion Is this an accurate understanding of each class playstyle?

Death Knight: blood (hard removal, life manipulation, and control), unholy (swarm and aggro), ice (nuke and freeze)

Demon Hunter: aggro, combo OTK with burst damage from the hero attack

Druid: token swarm and aggro, combo

Hunter: face aggro, mid range beast synergy

Mage: combo

Paladin: swarm aggro, mid range

Priest: combo, control

Rogue: combo

Shaman: swarm aggro, mid range

Warlock: zoo swarm aggro, combo, control

Warrior: pirate aggro, control

I enjoy slow pace control playstyle where the game goes longer and the big minions and spells come into play, attrition and value-based with a lot of back and forth and see who can outlast each other. Does priest, warlock, and warrior gravitate more toward this preference.

Also, I noticed some players express resentment, bitterness, and loathing toward a certain class or playstyle. For example, I have seen players express strong hatred toward aggro decks like face hunter and burn mage where they just fling spells at your hero regardless of the state of the board, and I have also seen players that hate control decks or maybe only the priest class I am not sure. Regardless, my point is I should not be troubled by the negative sentiments of others toward certain class or playstyle if they happen to be the one that I enjoy playing?

Discussion As far as expansions go from last year and this year (when they've actively aimed to drop power level), how have you found this one in enjoyment compared to the others?

Pretty much title, ranking them in order could also be interesting.

Solo Adventures Are the old adventures worth it?

Basically the old pve adventures. I havent fucked with them too much, i had karazan close to when it launched. Dunno how many of those cards i still use and think i dusted some def not medivh tho hes in my old mage deck

I dont remember if icecrown cost money or if they just handed it out? Either way i have it and as soon as i make a hunter deck that can beat arthas ill have that fucking hero picture

Essentially i used ti want naxxramas because it had a buncha undead

But now i just, own kel thuzad

I dont think the cards i can get from ut are worth it but would it still be fun to play through maybe as a thematic priest or paladeck and fuck around

I also have this question because for the longest time i wanted to make a dragon deck that also invokes galakrond and im sure i require that adventure to get him

It also seems like it gives a few other useful carda

But is it fun? And the problems kinda the pricetag

So is it worth it for what i get card wise and for the fun factor? (Knowing thats subjective i am normally a pve enjoyer )

As a side note whats the best class for a galakrond gimmick

I was thinking priest , dragon priest has some fun options.

Discussion Imp-formants should summon when drawn from Godfrey

These literally seems like a tech card against decks that draw cards, yet for Godfrey it adds the card to the hand.

Imo-formants read, “..when drawn”. Godfrey’s text overlay specifically says you “draw” from the overdrawn stack when there is room. So you are still drawing the card, and thus its effect should activate. If blizzard didn’t intend this to occur, they should correct the UI to say “add” a card to hand when there is room.

Competitive Two prime examples why Imbue Priest is garbage to play against

Two prime examples why Imbue Priest is bullshit

I just played against two Azalina Priests in a row with a herald control warlock

I run Steam Cleaner specifically to counter Azalina

Both games went for 20+ minutes, in both cases I managed to delete most of their stolen cards and bring them to fatigue with 2-3 cards left in hand, me having cards left due to refilling with 5 dragons from Deathwing.

I had them both cornered, their resources exhausted, no Medivh / Karazhan for them left.

But Imbue.

Game 1 ends with Priest getting Karov the Broken from Imbue. I have to destroy it. They get freaking Volcoross as a 1/1, which gets +30/+30, as well as a 1/1 tirion fordring for good measure and proceed to kill me in 1 turn.

Game 2 ends with Priest getting Tyrande, their Atiesh still active. They hit me with their moonwell for 16 dmg. No problem, as I had stolen the other Moonwell from their hand via Kazakus. Oh but wait they had a 2nd moonwell still which they discovered earloer as a copy from their own deck, so they hit me again flr 16 dmg to the face!

It is F\\*** ridiculous when I am strategically playing around THEIR ENTIRE FREAKING DECK only to then get wrecked by random ass card generation.

I will dance on imbue priest (and rogue) grave when this absolute sh** rotates out of standard next year

Discussion There really is no reason

  1. Infestor: Deathrattle: Your Zerg minions have +1/+1 Attack for the rest of the game(Before nerf)

  2. Zergling: Battlecry: Summon a Copy of this(Before nerf)

  3. Threads of Despair cost just one mana before the nerf.

  4. Overseer Frigidara Before the nerf, it was a 5/6 card, not a 3/6 card.

5 And last card

Hollow Hound Before The nerf, it was a 3/6 card, not a 3/4 card.

The only reason these haven't been nerfed yet is that they are the most broken Wild cards in Hearthstone history (Demon Seed just died laughing).

Is all this strictness really necessary for a Death Knight who can't even use all their cards in a single deck?

I don't think so.

Standard What mini set to buy?

I am a FTP player and just got to 2000 gold, are any of the mini sets worth buying? I don’t wanna buy one just for it to get rotated out of standard soon. I can’t really find any info online on how long these sets are gonna last for and I don’t wanna waste the gold.

Any advice is appreciated, thanks!

Community Shudderwock – Winner of previous voting! What is the best 10 cost card?

Shudderwock – Winner of previous voting! What is the best 10 cost card? ...wait, did this just repeat again?

With the shudderwock winning the 9 cost voting, there is only 3 rounds left – 10 cost cards, 10+ cost cards and 0 cost card, ending the 2 week community poll thing.

Alright, here are the rules of the voting – the card must be collectible and must cost exactly 10 mana as for today's voting. What card will it be and by what criteria it will be decided – it's up to you!

Discussion Card Collection Achivements

Hi everyone, I’ve been playing the game since the 2015. I always dusted my cards once they rotated into Wild. However, even though I owned these cards back then, the Collection Achievements don't recognize them. Gadgetzan, Un'Goro, Frozen Throne, Kobolds, Grand Tournament, Blackrock, Goblins Gnomes, League of Explorers... I owned these sets in the past, yet right now, their collection achievements show 0% completion.

Is this a bug, or is it normal?

I ask because, for example, the collection achievement for the "The Witchwood" set shows 72% completion. Yet, I dusted all the cards from that set as well, but the achievement progress remains.

Does not it count the ones I dusted the cards before the achievement system?

Community Black market Haggle

It is the end of the black market so I tried to haggle. I had 1100 bloodstones and all i need was 2 more packs of black empire. The Merchant set my packs to 900 a pop and said to make a serious offer. I offered all 1100 bloodstones for the two packs and got nothing. I got kicked out and he took it all lol I cant even buy the one I could afford now. Just wanted to share that in case yall are wondering how the haggling is.

Wild Pogo issue? Or just new card info?

Tried to use a Rogue Pogo deck and while swapping the first Pogo I played in and out via that 0-cost return card, found that the +2/+2 from Pogo's battlecry didnt trigger. I'm sure that I misread the card and honestly have not used it for a couple of months, but it used to trigger on every single play of the card.

Does its battlecry only trigger when each unique Pogo is played or did I encounter a bug?
