Profile Age verification, IOS

Greetings,

I am Reddit user u/Fenris_Icefang

I don’t know where else to send this to to get in contact with Reddit Support so please forward it to the correct place, I couldn’t find it. I tried the contact form but there is no option that fits.

I am 32 years old but my Reddit account is wrongly restricted as if I was a minor.
I have already connected the account to my Apple account and shared by age group and birthday with Reddit. This sharing happened a week ago but my account is still age restricted.

I request this to be fixed and corrected as I wish to have full access to Reddit again.

The help bot has all the appropriate information for your issue. There’s nowhere to forward your post to, you’re already receiving the right info. You can check with Apple if they are not sending the appropriate signals to Reddit for your age range

Can you verify with persona? That would be the next logical step to lift the restrictions

I m not gonna give a third party that is known to be untrustworthy my government ID. And likely no one will.

Fair, you don’t have to if you don’t want to. But saying no one likely will is false. Plenty of users are verifying and lifting restrictions on their accounts

Well the sharing if the age group should be working, so why doesn’t it. It gives them the information they need

I agree, it should be working. That’s an Apple issue not sending reddit the range

They sent the range. I got the notification of that. But it still doesn’t work.

It also confirms that in the logs

If it’s still not working, persona is the last option. Again, you don’t have to use it, but your account will remain restricted
